Now I was really in a sticky situation. It wasn't common of me to get cornered like this. But I knew exactly where to go. Judging by the soft voice that echoed throughout the allyway, I knew who this handsome detective was. Saihara Shuichi. He has been after me for a while now, but he never manages to catch me. I always brought him on a long chase across Tokyo. I'd let him get very close to cracking my case, but then I would pull another trick, kicking him all the way back to the bottom again.
I ran up the stairs to the left of the allyway. My shoes smacked hard on the concrete stairs, for I was running as fast as my feet could take me. I turned around for a brief moment, only to make direct eye contact with the blue haired boy. My heart dropped, but I smiled anyway, putting my finger to my lips, imitading a "Shh.." sign. I kept running, for I had a ways to go up the flight of stairs.
I have experience in running, so it didn't take me very long to reach the top. I saw Saihara at the last step, panting and bent over, trying to catch his breath. "Y..You..! I've got you now! No more games, you're done!" I smiled. "Oh, Saihara-chan. You know this is just another game!" I paused. "Y'know, I really appreciate you starting the games yourself now..I don't even have to come get you anymore, you come right to me, Saihara-chan!"
..
"Ouma-kun."
Saihara approached me. He grabbed my wrists. "I know there's more to you than what you're showing us."
...
"It's so bold of you to tell such an o-obvious lie, Saihara-chan! You really think I'd fall for this?! Ha! I'm Kokichi Ouma! The king! King of lies! I practically RUN the entirety of tokyo!" ..Shit. This act is getting harder to put on. How could I let him catch onto me?! No!
Saihara blinked.
"Ouma, stop lying."
...
"Are you okay..?"
