Your Pov

"Well this is a pickled watermelon huh?"

"Pickle?" Clint asked.

"Well yeah but I figured you could spice it up a little. Also never put sumac on pickled watermelon. But if you do it will be a riot. Use both online dictionary definitions and also your taste buds would be the crowd." I said.

"Glad to know." Tasha said.

"I know I can't believe I did not stutter! It is incredibly hard to get a good comeback or reply and execute it perfectly." I said straightening the bottom of my shirt.

"Back on track." Natasha said.

"I have a car that seats six, and if your used the car I think you did you do as well." Hope said fishing in her purse for something.

"Hurrah! There are six of us that can use actual seats. And I do not think you have a baby seat." I said bouncing pup up and down. His nap was helpful but he still was tired. To be fair it was a big day for the little fellow. I had to leave him too to do this. I cringed inwardly and tried to push it out of my mind. This could wait, although not long.

"Not to my knowledge." Clint said walking closer to the car he brought. "Where did you park Hope?"

"Over a little farther in the second row. I can take Cassie home and well meet you there, if tht works for you."

"Sure, is that ok Y/N?" Natasha asked.

"perfectly fine." I said nodding my head.

"To the bird bus!" Clint said already in the car.

"Bye Cassie!" Tamara said waving to the other girl. "Bye Tam!" Cassie said waving back at her.

We got settled into the car, there was a small argument about who was driving but Clint one because he said Tasha drove like she had nothing to live for. Tamara was vibrating in her seat and looking out the window and pup was being fussy. Hopefully he would fall asleep soon.

"How are you liking the bird bus?" Clint asked.

"We do not call it that." Natasha said flicking his ear.

"Moose microbus?" I said

"Marsupial minivan?" I added on to what I hoped would be a list.

"Conch convertible" Clint said grinning widely at me from the review mirror.

"Orangutan omnibus" I said slowly rocking pup. The hum of the moter soothed him and he was nearly asleep.

"Nat.." Clint said leaning his head towards her. "Your turn!" he said cheerily.

"Hamster Hatchback.." She said looking back at me.

"Yes!" I said quietly. I did not want to wake pup since he had just fallen asleep.

The ride had lapsed into comfortable silence when we went into a tunnel. I hated walking through them and it was no better driving through one. I shuddered and tried to look normal. No need to make anyone worried. I schooled my features but clearly not fast enough. Nat was looking at me from through the window. One red eyebrow up. It was the suspicious face. I had seen it when I told her that I hit a wall while getting Tamara out of the way of a car. She knew I was lying.

"You ok Y/N?" she asked and Clint looked at me as well.

"Yep," I said and took a deep breath. "Everything is awesome, everything is cool!" I said all in one breath and breathed in again.

"Your breathing is shallow, we will be out of the tunnel soon you will be ok Y/N." Natasha said fully turning around in her seat.

I did not trust my voice not to shake so I just sat there and nodded. Unbuckling her seatbelt she climbed out of her seat and into the back. She took the sleeping pup from my hands and then just held them in my lap. Watching her still because I did not know what she would do next I relaxed just a tiny bit. Hopefully it would be enough for her to go back to her seat.

It was not apparently. Tamara tore her gaze from outside the car and motioned that she could take pup. Natasha handed her the three month old and separated my hands. I was slightly better now but I was curious. In the way she was dealing with my sudden stress it seemed like it happened often enough.

"You ok now Y/N, real answer this time."

       I stayed silent.

"Alright, no is perfectly ok too. Look there is the end of it." Clint said pointing to where light was coming into the tunnel.

We drove through it and parked. Natasha leg go of my hand's and opened the door for Tamara. Tamara handed pup back to me and I stepped out of the car.

"Hey guys!" I heard someone say behind me.

"Hi Cassie!" Hi mrs. hope!" Tamara said.

"Wanna the ants?" Cassie said taking Tamara's hand.

"Yep!" Tamara said and walked a little faster.
