Jimin
"Jimiiiiiiiiin, today is the day!" Jungkook shakes me awake and kisses all over my face, his breath smelling of toothpaste,
Blinking slowly, I sit up and stare at the male who is much too hyper for five-thirty in the morning.
"Huh?" I sway due to the lingering sleepiness, the faintest breeze having the power to knock me down. "Give me until at least seven. I can't think."
"No, my brother and dad are picking us up in thirty minutes!"
I lie back down. "Then wake me up in thirty minutes."
It hits me.
"Today is Disney!"
Jungkook nods ecstatically, peeling off my clothes as I shoot up again. He directs me to the bathroom to brush my teeth, stealing my toothbrush once I'm done with it to pack.
I amble into the bathroom despite wanting to go faster. I'm just too tired to be quick despite my brain processing everything so quickly. Plus, if it's my first time seeing Jungkook's family as his boyfriend, I probably shouldn't skimp out on the shower. I'll take my time for my hygiene so I can make a good impression.
Once I'm all clean, I slip into the clothes my boyfriend kindly laid out for me and do my makeup before giving my boyfriend the beauty materials to pack up.
"Eat, it's a light and healthy breakfast. There probably won't be much on the flight since it isn't too long, but I also don't want you to get nauseous." He moves my hair out of my face to kiss my forehead.
"Thank you." I hum and sit down at the bar counter to eat my plate of eggs and fruit, glad I have Jungkook on top of things. He's really matured. It makes me all the more excited for our trip. The thoughts of all we'll do are thrilling. I've wanted to travel with a loved one, especially Jungkook, since I was young. So the fact that I actually get to do it is a dream come true.
I guess in a way, a lot of my dreams have been coming true.
Jungkook is my boyfriend. He likes—loves—me back. We live together. We're traveling together. I got to study dance in college. I'll be running my mom's dance studio soon enough.
Things couldn't be better.
When I'm finished, I clean my dishes and put them away before going to where Jungkook is checking everything for the umpteenth time. I wrap my arms around him from behind and start peppering his neck in kisses. "Baby, it's fine. We're fine. If we forget anything, I'll be able to get it in Japan."
"But I don't want you to have to waste your money on that, baby." He pouts, but relaxes into me nevertheless. "I wanna be a good boyfriend."
"Good thing you're a golden boyfriend." I turn him toward him and grab his waist, pulling him into me for a kiss.
Our lips meet and Jungkook giggles gleefully, hooking his arms around my neck. For some reason, this reminds me of our first kiss and I have a feeling it's reminding him too, if the way we're smiling into the kiss like giddy teens is anything to go off of.
I lead the younger male to the couch to cuddle and Lala jumps up to join us.
"Lachimolala," Jungkook says cutely, picking the feline up and hugging her. "I wish we could take you too. You'll be a good girl for Hobi, right? He lives right next door, so you won't be alone."
Smiling, I watch my boyfriend converse with our pet, his gaze gentle and his tone jovial. It reminds me of how one would speak to a young child, and I can't help but ponder upon a future where Jungkook and I take care of an adopted kid or two.
