Jimin
"H-Hey."
No longer caring about my makeup, I walk to Jungkook, dazed. It's felt like forever. He wouldn't let me visit for his birthday, so I only got to video call him. My hands reach for his mask and remove it. The sight of his grin makes me light up as well.
"I didn't know you were Taehyung's girlfriend." I grab his hat and chuckle at his frizzy, messy long hair. My fingers comb through it and he closes his eyes momentarily.
Opening his eyes, he looks down at me and smirks. "I'm not. I'm your boyfriend, remember?"
My breath catches and I choke. "Th-That was a joke."
"It was?" He blinks, acting surprised. "I was celibate for you, Jimin."
Blushing, I hit him, but he puts his hands on my waist.
Hoseok laughs. "Looks like Jungkook is finally teasing you back. He has a lot to make up for. You were nonstop."
Yeah, I know. I don't bother to remove his hands and instead turn around, putting his hat on my head while he hugs me from behind. It's weird having him initiate touch like this and it's worrisome. He knows that I'm bisexual. Does this mean that he really doesn't care? That nothing had to change? That I distanced myself for no reason?
Yoongi walks up tiredly to greet our friends and Jungkook's grip on me tightens, almost territorially. I place my hands on his arms and pat them, wondering if he's still shy around the others.
"You all were really good," Taehyung compliments and Jungkook rests his chin on top of my head. "We had a great time. Jungkook was just as surprised about him coming as you. The look on his face was priceless. He ran around his closet like crazy, looking for an outfit."
I laugh. "I'm glad you both are here. I didn't think I'd see Kookie until later tomorrow. But now, it's like a little treat. I get to see Jungkook on the last day of his birth month since he wouldn't let me come for his birthday."
"Well, it'd be a waste of money to come to make a round trip to Korea when you were moving back anyway," Yoongi deadpans.
Gasping loudly, I grasp my heart. "Min Yoongi! A promise is a promise."
"Money is money." He shrugs and sits down on the couch.
Hoseok sits down next to him and Taehyung sits on the couch across from them. "How has college been, Jungkook? We see the least of you since you're so busy all the time and could never visit."
Slowly, Jungkook lets go of me and sits by Taehyung, playing with his hands. "I'm doing well. My YouTube channel has been doing well. You both went to the same college as me, so you know what it's like there. My instructors expect a lot from me because of how I did in the talent show, so it can get stressful at times."
Frowning, I sit on the floor between my best friends, wrapping an arm around each of their knees to hug their legs into me. "I'll help you out in whatever way I can."
"It's fine." His hand starts to massage my neck and he offers me his signature smile once I look at him.
Grinning, I feel more at ease as the five of us talk.
-
"We should probably head out. Yoongi is already asleep." Hoseok chuckles.
"You could stay with me," Jungkook suggests, but Hoseok shakes his head.
"That's nice, but we already made reservations for the hotel. Maybe you could both stay with us. You and Taehyung can room with Jimin."
