It's been 2 years. I heard that Itzy debuted in February 2019. I was happy for them. I never felt guilty for not being a member of the group. I didn't want them to receive backlash and hatred because of me. But I did feel guilty for not telling Hyunjin since we have been besties from childhood. He tried contacting me but I kept blocking him away. It was hard to manage stuff in the beginning but then later I got used to it. I know that this job isn't for me but I should learn how to be independent. As I was busy arranging the cupcakes in the display, my co-worker approached me.
Jae-Ri: Su-Ha!
Su-Ha: What? *while I kept arranging the cupcakes*
Jae-Ri: An Idol group came to our cafe!
Su-Ha: Who?
Jae-Ri: Stray Kids.
As soon as I heard that name I stopped what I was doing. I turned towards Jae-Ri.
Su-Ha: Jae-Ri. You wanna take their order and give it to them?
Jae-Ri: It's you who does that right?
Su-Ha: You don't want to do it? Ok, then I'll tell another worker to do it.
Jae-Ri: Wait wait wait! I'll do it. They are my favorite idols.
As I saw her go excitedly to take their order I sighed in relief. If they would have seen me they would bombard me with questions. I went and to the bakery room door to avoid being seen.
Su-Ha's POV end
Jae-Ri's POV
Jae-Ri: What would you like to have sir?
Changbin: Can we have 6 chocolate icecreams, 2 cookies-and-cream, 4 mango smoothies, and 4 Chocolate Chip Cookie smoothies?
Ja-Ri: Noted sir. I'll get it in 10 minutes. Btw sir I'm a huge fan of yours. Even my friend is a fan of yours. But she insisted that I assist you. Could I get a selfie?
I.N: Sure.
*after the selfie*
Han: You said your friend was also our fan. Why don't you call her?
Jae-Ri: Just a second sir. Su-Ha. Where are you?
Seungmin: Did you just say Su-Ha?
Jae-Ri: Yes.
Seungmin: Su-Ha in the sense Kim Su-Ha?
Jae-Ri: Yes sir. * I answered confidentially*
Felix: How long has she been working here?
Jae-Ri: Almost 2 years.
Changbin: Where's she now?
Jae-Ri: I guess in the bakery room.
They all get up and rush to the baking room while I followed them. As they entered the room they saw Su-Ha mixing the frosting. Chan went up to her and placed his hand on her shoulder. She got startled by someone suddenly placing their hand on her. As she turned back and saw Chan, her eyes widened.
Su-Ha: Sunbae, what are you doing here?
Chan: We should be asking you that. We need to talk.
Su-Ha: Jae-Ri. Could you change the shop sign? I know you are confused. I'll explain everything later.
Jae-Ri: Sure.
I went to change the open sign to close while everyone got seated. I did know Su-Ha was Jonghyun's sister but I didn't know about this.
Hyunjin: Su-Ha where were you all long? Pd-nim was trying to find you. We need you.
Chan: He wants you to join back the group.
The others: Yeah.
The whole cafe went silent for about 5 minutes. Later Su-Ha broke the silence.
Su-Ha: Guys I need time to think. It's just not that I can come immediately after you ask. I'm sorry if that was rude. I have to ask my family and decide. Give me some time.
All of them: Ok.
After that, I saw them leave. I slowly approach to Su-Ha and hug her. I know her for 2 years. She's like my best friend. There might be some reason she might not have shared with me.
Jae-Ri: Now tell me what happened?
I listened to her as she told me. I feel sad for her. But for her age, she really had mature thinking. Then I said,
Jae-Ri: I cannot give the best suggestion for you, but talk to your family about this. Ok?
Su-Ha: Ok.
After that, she cleaned everything at the cafe and went home. I had locked the shop and I headed towards my house.

Su-Ha's POV
This is really bad. I didn't expect them to meet me and ask me such kind of a question. I was deeply immersed in thinking. I went home and was going to my bedroom. Suddenly So-Dam caught my hand, making me flinch.
So-Dam: Su-Ha, what happened? I was calling you. Why did you space out?
Su-Ha: I need to speak to you unnie.
So-Dam: What's it Su-Ha? Have a seat and tell me.
Su-Ha: *she explains what happened*
So-Dam: Su-Ha, listen to me properly. I know you don't want the group to receive hatred because of you. But JYP is willing to take you in. Which means he knows how to deal with those kinds of stuff. You said that there were trying to contact you from the time Itzy debuted, which means you deserve to be in the group. Listen to me and join the group.
Su-Ha: Ok. I'll go and talk to him tomorrow.
The next day I asked for a leave from the cafe manager and went back home to change my dress and go to JYP Entertainment.

I went into the agency and approached PD-nim's cabin. As I heard a come in, I went inside. Soon as he saw me his eyes sparkled with joy.
JYP: Su-Ha! You're back. I have been trying to contact you-
Su-Ha: I'm ready to join... *I said breaking his sentence*
JYP: You what?
Su-Ha: Yes sir, you heard me right. I'm joining.
JYP: I mean that's great. Now let me tell you. You will be joining them for their next song. Why because in a few days they are coming back with a new mini-album IT'Z ICY. So you can train for a while and join them with their next album. Till then I'll take care of the arrangements that have to be done.
