Chapter 6

Deku's POV
The next day, I woke up before Shiggy. I looked at him. He looked peaceful. I sat up, careful not to wake him, and looked at the time. '5:50. I have time to go meet up with him before school.' I think to myself. I quickly hop up and run to the closet to grab my uniform.

I ran to his apartment. Right when I walked through the door, he looked up from his newspaper, from his spot on the couch. "Hello, Midoryia. What do you need?" He asked, unusually nice. 'Since when?' I thought to my self before answering. "Hi.....just wanted to know if I had any new missions?" I asked quietly. "Hmm.....no. Get lost, Midoryia." He says coldly. I nod and leave. I checked the time. 6:05. I had to be at school by 7:30. That left an hour and 25 minutes. No need to rush. As soon as I started to walk away, someone called my name. "Deku!" I turned around on instinct. Katsuki Bakugo was walking my way. 'Kacchan?!' My mind screamed. "K-Kacchan?" I stuttered. He reached me. "Deku, who's apartment is that?" He asked. 'Does he actually care?' I question. "A...a friend's house." I manage. He studies me skeptically. "Who?" He asks. 'Really? Just, really?' I think in annoyance. "Izari.....she isn't here but I had to drop something off so I went ahead and dropped it off.." I say, thinking of it off the top of my head. "Riiight..." he says. I sigh. "I should probably get going. See ya, Kacchan!" I say quickly, running off.

Bakugo's POV
Something is definitely wrong with Deku. Izari hasn't been around for years. I study the apartment he came out of. It was a pretty big one. I let out a sigh and head him to sleep for the next thirty minutes, until I had to get ready for school.

Hey guys! So, I know I haven't updated in a while, but I've been grounded. Sorry y'all. Anyways, I probably won't update the other stories until tomorrow or something. I'm also sorry that this chapter was so short. I'm fighting writer's block. Welp, TTYL!!! 😊😊
