I opened the door of the library and walked into a grand room with high ceilings and walls covered in shelves with millions of books. (Just imagine it looks like Live Action Beauty & Beast library). Awe stuck me causing happiness, I loved books and thought I could handle this but it seems Asgard's beauty also is held within this room as well. I stood still closed my eyes and tried to rub away the growing feeling in my chest. It wasn't a strong feeling yet but I need to calm down. I just woke up and I do not wish to go back to sleep just yet. I inched my eyes open when I felt calm enough and took deep breaths.

This library was filled with everything. The one at home can't compare the slightest, this is more than I could ever imagine. In my search I catch eyes with a man sitting with many books sprawled out on the table. He is handsome and looks kind, I need to stay away from him. Raven black hair hangs down to his shoulders, a few strands falling in front of his cheeks. Eyes like the color of a healthy forest. They look sad, pained, but beautiful. I give him a nod then continued searching for something that intrigues me. It seems like I've walked into the history section, which I don't particularly like. I like melo stories, once's that won't spark any strong emotions. I couldn't say how many times I've fallen asleep due to a characters death or romantic relationships. But then I was home with people who knew my condition, here I would fall prey to whomever found me.

"I've never seen you before." I spun around the the man who spoke. He leaned back in his chair with a deadpan expression.

"Yes this is my first time here. Sorry if I disturbed you. I'll get out of your way." I turn back to the other side of the room which I haven't looked through yet. This is a huge library.

"No that's fine. You did not bother me. I just know everyone who comes to the library and I've never seen you. Are you new to the palace as well?"

"Yes, I just got my room and I saw no books so I got directions to here. This is a beautiful library, truly magnificent. So many options I don't know where to start." I grow a small smile and he nods and stands up.

"What are you looking for. I've read almost all books in here. I'm guessing you wish for romance books. Most woman go for that." He closes his books on the table and stacks them.

"No. Not romance. I was looking for a captivating book that doesn't play with the readers emotions... if I'm bothering you I can leave. You don't need to clean up if you're still working." He holds up a hand and shakes his head.

"It is not a bother for a fellow book lover. Everyone that comes in here are just old men that research for the Allfather. You're the first to actually come to enjoy the collections. Follow me."  We walk out of the room and into the center of the library. He looks around the room and walks to the shelf to the right of the big window that illuminates the room. "Let's see. This one is very good, an adventure of a man named Gulliver. This one is about Jack and some giants he steals from.... these are all books from Midgard and don't play with your emotions. They are children's books meant for the parents to read them to sleep. There are some Asgardian books also but they aren't as dull as Midgardian ones." He moves to the side so I can look through them. I pull one out to look, put it back and repeat the process until I see all of my options.

"May I ask your name. I like to know everyone in the palace if I can." I turn to him and he still have that expressionless face plastered on.

"Sure, I am Rosalina, I am Prince Loki's new wife. Except we haven't had a chance to meet yet but I guess everyone already knows that. Since you know. Didn't make it to the wedding, I feel terrible about that. But I guess it all ended up working out." I looked up from my book to the man who now had an aggressive emotion spread through his body. "Sorry did I say something wrong? Do you not like Prince Loki?" His body relaxed.

"No. He's ok. What about you, what do you think of him. What makes you marry a fallen prince?" I'm shocked at his question. Did get mad at me because I am wed to a fallen prince.

"Well I haven't met him yet so I can't answer  your first question until I do. I've heard he is not one for emotional connections which is fine with me. I actually did not know it was him I was to marry until a couple days before the marriage."

"So you married for what. Money, status?" I could tell he was holding in anger for a reason I know know why. Was he a friend of Loki and doesn't like people treating him badly?

"No. I mean it was nice to marry someone that isn't poor but that isn't the reason. I would never use someone like that."

"So why then. Why would you choose to marry a fallen prince, you claim to have no emotions, if not for money?"

"Because he is perfect for me." His eyebrows raised, I roll my eyes. "I don't wish to make any connections while I'm here. And since he doesn't sound like a person who would care for me then it is perfect." He furrows his brow. "I know it sounds off. But... it's nothing. I married his personality not his status.... that sounds weird. I am not... comfortable around strong emotions. I rather keep a calm neutral hold with my emotions." I pick up the story of a big whale, whatever that is.

"You do realize you will be here forever. How do you plan on not forming connections with people. You married a monster so you could, what? Have no one care for you. You think he doesn't have feelings? You think he is a heartless monster?!" The man is raising his voice and I can tell he is getting mad even though his face hold no emotion.

"For the rest of my time here I will keep in solitude as much as I can. These books will help. And I don't like you calling him a monster. Heartless people aren't monsters, just broken people. People that have gone through so much heartache they lose all hope."

"You think he is broken, weak? He's burdened with glorious purpose. The rightful king of Asgard!"

"Why are you standing up for him. A couple seconds ago you called him monster. Now you call him the rightful king. I no longer wish to speak to you about Loki. Apparently you have a very complicated relationship with him and I do not wish to take part. Thank you so much for showing me these books but I will be leaving now." I hold my book to my chest and walk away.

"Do you know what he is? He's a monster, adopted son of Odin. He was born a Frost Giant. A vicious monster, he will kill you." I turn around and storm back. As soon as I stopped in front of the man I slapped him.

"How dare you!" My chest starts to sting. "Do not call him a monster! He is your Prince no matter where he came from. Monsters aren't born, they are made! And you, Sir, are definitely more of a monster then him!" My chest starts to hurt more. I start to rub my chest. "Has he done anything to show he is like his race. Has he killed mercilessly? If Odin made him his son and still keeps him then maybe you should trust your King that Loki is not a monster!" My breathing quickens. He goes to hold my arm to steady me but I pull away.

"Why do you defend him. He's a fallen prince. A heartless Frost Giant. Surely you are scared of him."

"Why don't you defend him. He's your prince fallen or not." My rubbing is calming my heart down. "He is heartless because of what his life brought him. And surely if you were scared of him yourself you wouldn't dare speak of him like you are. This conversation is over, I need to go. Thank you for introducing these books but please never speak to me again. I will not have conversations with people who are so narrow-minded." I turn and walk out the door
