she cautiously stepped out of the room, praying the hardwood floorings wouldn't creak.

schlatt lied asleep on the couch, a thin blanket draped over him. she stepped past him, soon stepping out of the front door.

the cold breeze kissed her cheeks as she made her way down the streets of las nevadas. she threw on one of schlatt's hoodies that lied in his closet, laced with the scent of strong cologne and alcohol, yet she wasn't sure if that part was artificial.

she made her way across a small bridge that separated the sandy land with cold grass, a dark figure startling the girl.

"hey- ivy?"

"you walk so fuckin' fast-"

"hi" she softly replied with, the boys presence washed an odd feeling over her.

tubbo stood in front of her with a panting tommy behind him, their eyes locking for a moment. "i missed you"

she suddenly wrapped her arms around the brunet, him doing the same.

tommy stood silently, watching as the siblings hugged. he wanted to join in, yet let them have their moment.

small sniffles came from the girl, tubbo quickly pulling away. "ivy.."

"why didn't you- you tell me-"

"we just wanted to protect you.." tubbo held onto the girls arms, as tears slowly begun falling down her cheeks. for some reason he knew automatically what she was talking about.

"i- i know but-"

"hey, we can talk about this another time but for now why're you up, and out? where's schlatt?" tubbo softly said, glancing towards tommy for a moment.

"i haven't left that house in like a week.. i just wanted to touch the grass, and see the stars."

"then lets go do just that" tubbo smiled, taking a hold of ivy's hand. he gently squeezed it, then begun leading the way.

tubbo sat down onto the grass, once they found a clearing where they could see the stars.

ivy did the same, taking a seat not too far from him. she ran her fingers through the grass, that was somewhat damp.

"the grass is all wet!" tommy complained, as he knelt down to feel the grass. "it's not gonna kill you, sit down." tubbo sighed, watching tommy groan then cooperate.

ivy lied back onto the grass, staring up at the stars above. "we heard about what happened, and just came to see if you were okay." tubbo broke the silence, pulling at the grass below him.

"i'm... i'm alright."

"hey, i'm sorry" tommy spoke up, looking up from the grass. "for.." ivy asked, confused.

"for somewhat ditching you, we never talk anymore."

"no- it's my fault. i shut people out" ivy replied, tilting her head to look at tommy.

the group sat silently for a moment, the surrounding ambience filling the air.

"well, look at us right now. it's the iconic trio!" tubbo announced, a smile appearing across his face.

"just like how it used to be" ivy mumbled, continuing to stare up at the stars.

"it's crazy to think we grew up together. i still remember us play fighting when we were like.. eight." tommy says, "time moves so fast.."

"i wish i remembered some of it." ivy mumbled, under her breath. tubbo glanced towards her, unsure of what she said. "hm?"

"i- nothing" she begun, cutting herself off.

another silence fell over the group, this time tubbo speaking up once again. "how's schlatt?"

"he's.. alright." ivy replied, tilting her head towards him. "what about quackity? i spoke to him not too long ago."

"everyone's alright i guess," ivy paused for a moment. "so.. quackity isn't biologically related.. to us?"

"well- no. but like, a god father. y'know?"

"that makes more sense." she mumbled in response, looking up to the stars once again. "siblings, isn't that crazy!" tommy begun, his energy much higher than the other two teens.

"i see it more, you two look alot alike."

"what-!" ivy protested, shooting her head towards tommy. "i see it!"

"i don't!"

"you look alot more like mum." tubbo simply stated, softly, causing the yelling between the two to quiet down.

"i- i see mom in you too"
