i tread through the snow, wearing the coat tubbo gave me. i decided to visit ranboo, since i haven't seen him in a few days.the pocket watch quackity gave me, i wore just like he did, connected to my belt loop and tucked into my pocket. the small clinking of the chain annoyed me sometimes, yet was a nice reminder.
i passed by techno and phils home, making my way closer to ranboos. i let myself in, since i've done it in the past. "ranboo!" i announced, heading upstairs.
i turned the corner, my eyes scanning the room for a split second before i was being lunged at. i was shoved against the wall, slamming my, once wounded, shoulder against it.
a hand held my shoulder, another holding onto my neck. panic set in, as i was still coming to my senses.
ranboo stood over me, his eyes looking deep into mine. eye contact. he could never hold it. yet, those eye's weren't familiar.
his breathing was pitched, out of breath, as he was inhaling and exhaling sharply.
"what- who- what do you want" he slurred, speaking between breaths. "are- are you okay?!"
i began to struggle to breathe as his grip became tighter, and i was only beginning to panic.
i didn't recognize him, who am i speaking to, this isn't ranboo.
'ranboo' i could only mouth, as no sound seemed to come out. his nails, that surprisingly had some length, dug into my skin.
i could only wince, squeezing my eyes shut. i couldn't scream, my body wasn't allowing it. my vision only became blurred, as my heart rate was increasing.
i let out a gasp of air, only to be shoved to the ground. my wounded shoulder slamming onto the hardwood flooring, along with my head.
i lied on the floor, for what felt like ages. i think i even blacked out for a moment.
there was nobody in sight, as i finally sat up. i gained the energy to stand up, cautiously making my way downstairs.
i opened the door to be hit with the blistering air, as i stepped foot in the snow once again.
techno's home was the first thing in sight, i haven't seen him in awhile. i felt like shit, weak, there was no way i could make it all the way back home.
"ivy- are you okay?" the door swings open, revealing techno standing in the doorway. "y-yeah"
"you're bleeding"
he lets me in, sitting me down and dissapearing somewhere. the room was dimly lit, yet enough light came through the windows that the curtains didn't fully cover.
a desk sat against one wall, right underneath a window, piled with papers and calligraphy materials
a coat rack sat in a corner by the door, his iconic red cape draped over it.
a netherite sword was displayed on the wall, yet it wasn't just only for display. it seemed to be the one he always carried close to him.
i sighed as i just now payed attention to the pounding headache i had, i assume from slamming my head onto the floor.
techno appeared once again, holding a small med kit in his hands. he sits next to me, fiddling with the kit.
i watch as he pulls out bandages, and some sort of liquid. "here, take your jacket off" he hands me a small towel, and i do so, placing my jacket next to me.
he wore a white dress shirt, tucked into some black dress pants. he always dressed so elegantly, someone with a more iconic fashion sense compared to others.
"tilt your head away from me, this is hydrogen peroxide it may burn. what happened- did you get attacked? by who?"
i do so, letting techno clean up the marks on my neck. i begin explaining, still trying to piece together the situation myself.
"it was ranboo- but it wasn't him. that wasn't him."
"what do you mean?"
he applys the peroxide, cleaning up the blood and wounds i was unknown of, i assume from ranboo digging his nails into me.
"his eyes, we held eye contact. he can't hold eye contact"
"but why did he attack you?"
he moves my hair out of the way, unpackaging some small band-aids.
"i don't know, i just went to see him then he pinned me against the wall, he was completely out of breath. that wasn't him- he was in some sort if frenzy"
techno sat quietly, focusing. i check my shoulder once he's finished, to make sure no blood was drawn there either. thankfully, due to the layers i had on, there was none.
"thank you" i give him a small smile, trying to ignore the pounding headache i honestly had.
"anytime" he says, in his classic monotone voice. "this is the second time you've had to clean me up, why?"
"heh- i just know how to properly deal with wounds so i try to help, those who i can handle after all" he looks back to me, as he finishes putting the med kit back together.
"you wanna stay here for a bit?" techno asks, standing in a doorway as he comes back from putting the med kit away. "yeah, if you don't mind"
"i don't mind, you seem quite tired, and i know you have a decent journey home"
i smiled at the gesture, techno was a comforting person. yet with his past, he really shouldn't be.
suddenly his attention was fixated on something out the window, as he stared out and walked closer to it.
"hold on- i'll be back"
techno announces, swiftly taking the netherite sword off of the wall and making his way outside.
