*May 1983*
The anniversary trip is over and Andy and (Y/N) settle back into their normal routine.
(Y/N)'s POV:
We got back to Cali yesterday afternoon. Getting away is nice but there's no place like home. Well, my newest home. I still often think back to 5 years ago and what my family is doing. As long as time has gone on in this dimension, has time moved on too in the future?
I did laundry last night of all the clothes me and Andy wore and folded it too before bed. Andy went to the studio for a few things this morning while I had a free morning to myself.
I put the luggage away in the closet and put away the clothes I folded last night. Karen did a good job house sitting and I didn't need to do much cleaning.
Sam was excited we were home. He wouldn't leave my side.
I went out back to water our blossoming garden. Our tomatoes started sprouting baby green tomatoes since we left last week. There was also some baby strawberries starting to grow as well.
It's a nice spring morning here back in Cali. Least to say, I love rain but I'm glad we are home. A little too much rain is possible.
Soon, I heard footsteps coming up the gravel path out front. Either it was the mail person or Andy.
The gate slowly opened and it was my Andy.
"Ello darling," Andy said carrying two drinks in his hand.
"Hi love how did it go?" I asked him as I put the water hose down.
"It went well. I just had to overdub some vocals so it wasn't too much work," Andy said.
"That's good. I've just been working around the house," I told him.
"I got you your favorite diet coke before I came home," Andy said gesturing the cup towards me.
"Aw love you are too sweet," I replied taking the cup from him.
"Anything for you darling. By the way, how's our garden?" Andy asked sipping his drink.
"We have some baby tomatoes and strawberries growing," I told him as I went and put my drink on our patio table.
"That's exciting darling. I hope this year we get more then 2 tomoatoes like last year," Andy said laughing.
"Haha me too love. We started the garden a bit earlier so I think we will," I said grabbing one of Sam's toys and throwing it to Sam.
"So what else do you have planned for the day?" Andy asked.
"Hmmm I don't know love. I just planned on doing housework today and then I honestly am craving In n Out for dinner," I told him.
Next thing I know, I am getting wet.
I look at where my garden hose and Sam was dragging it around the yard.
"Sam! No bad boy!" I shouted.
Andy looked over to Sam was and started going after him.
Sam ended up moving the hose to where Andy was and soaked him too.
"What a warm welcome Sam! Stop get back here!" Andy yelled at Sam.
"Let me turn the hose off!" I said running to the faucet.
Sam kept running around soaking everything in his path.
"I know what you are doing now," I told Andy.
"What?" Andy asked chuckling.
"Taking a real shower," I replied laughing.
It was nice to be back home again.
