(Y/N) and Andy scramble with the last few days of moving.
(Y/N)'s POV:
It's become more stressful the last few days. Trying to remember every little thing in your own house and trying to make sure it makes it to the new house is stressful.
Today, me and Andy decided to take a break and go out for lunch just to take a step away from the house.
"Where do we want to go, darling?" Andy asked me as he pulled onto the main street.
"Anywhere I'm starving love," I said with a yawn.
"Hopefully we can take a nap later after we pack up the rest of the kitchen," Andy said taking my hand and kissing it.
"I hope so love. I am beat and I know you are too," I replied leaning my head on his shoulder.
"Well let's just get some take out from In N Out. Do you want your favorite fries and vanilla milkshake?" Andy asked kissing the top of my head.
"Anything sounds so good love at this point," I said with a chuckle.
"I got you sold for that then darling," Andy replied laughing.
We pulled into the In N Out drive-thru and Andy ordered for us. I closed my eyes for a while we waited for our food.
After the drive-thru attendant handed Andy our food, I sat up more and held onto the food till we got home.
We got back into the house and plopped on the couch and got comfy.
Andy handed me my food.
"Thank you love," I said while stifling a yawn.
"Of course darling," Andy said settling on the couch himself.
The house had an echo. All the pictures and nicknacks were packed away. Only the couches, TV and coffee table stayed in the living room.
Upstairs, we only had a small amount of linen for the bathroom left to put away. Our bedroom, the closets were empty except a few outfits for the next few days.
Sam was very much confused. All the chaos can cause stress, even on pups. We let him sleep at the foot of our bed the last few nights so he knows he's going with us. I think Sam will love the backyard even more with the big patio and trees.
I ate my fries and hamburger quiet and content while I was up in my thoughts. What if this is my final destination with Andy? What if I wake up and all of this is gone? Could I ever fit in the future?
"Darling?" Andy's voice shook me out of my thoughts.
"Huh what?" I replied out loud.
"You looked lost in thought there. Are you ok?" Andy asked.
"Yes just worried and stressed about the move," I replied while sipping my milkshake.
"I know darling I am too. But in a few days, we will be in our new home and happier then ever," Andy said reaching his arms out to me.
He brought me against his chest. Our breathing synced so well we eventually dozed off.
The next thing I remember was waking up to Andy giving my forehead kisses.
"I know we both want more sleep darling but we have to finish the kitchen," Andy told me in a quiet voice.
"Just give me a minute haha," I said with a sleep in my voice.
Andy started adjusting while I sat up and stretched.
"I can't wait to go to sleep," I said standing up.
"Me too darling," Andy said standing up and wrapping his arms around me.
"Let's get the kitchen packed up love," I said letting go of his embrace and heading towards the kitchen.
It's a lot of hard-work, but we are making our dreams come true.
