This was mainly just an experiment with Symbolic Landscape, so I'm sorry if this came out a bit interesting. Enjoy!
Glaring at the tree in front of you, you punch at the bark wildly, letting out all your frustration. You grunt with each powerful punch, ignoring the pain traveling from your knuckles to your palms. The harsh sound of your fists meeting the sturdy wood whips through the forest, reflecting off the thousands of trees surrounding you. Your humiliation acts like fuel, pushing you to keep punching as if the motion will block out your thoughts.
Your grunts turn into cries, finally pausing your frantic throws. You turn your back to the tree, falling to the ground on your bum and leaning against the tree as you cry. Dark clouds cover the once clear sky, and fierce winds rattle against the branches, leaves, and grass. The storm brewing fails to deter you. Instead, you stay in your curled-up position with both wounded hands pressed up to your chest. The sky booms and crackles, signaling the might of the storm. You sniffle through your cries, your shoulders lifting as you manage struggled intakes of the humid air.
"Y/n!" A pair of voices call out for you, pushing past the wind beginning to rev up.
The familiar voices flood your senses, stopping you from your cries. You pull your head from your chest, sitting up straight as you listen for any other signs of the couple.
"Y/n! Come back to camp! It's too dangerous out here!" Sokka belts, traveling closer to your hideout.
Your head turns to the direction of his voice, squinting your eyes to make out his figure through the dark. The shadow of his body begins running to the tree your laying beneath. Gasping, you push yourself up from your position, wincing as you press your hands to the ground for momentum, desperately fumbling over yourself to stand up. While keeping your hands limp, you run deeper into the forest, trying your best to keep away from the couple.
Just as you leave the coverage of the tree, rain showers over you. The water soaks your clothes in a matter of seconds, though you don't slow down. If anything, the rain pushes you to move further away from the couple. The sounds of the storm spook you, causing you to pause a bit at every boom of thunder or crack of lightning.
The lightning seems to act as a blessing and a curse. It provides brief seconds of light, allowing you enough time to assess how to leave the forest. Though the light also alerts other people of your position.
Suki calls out, after another flash of lightning, "Don't move. Stay exactly where you are!"
Ignoring her suggestion, you make a quick turn to the left, keeping your pace. A pair of arms wrap around you, preventing you from running further.
"Gotcha..." The warrior mumbles to herself, thrown backward against a tree from the force of your momentum. She rests against the bark, keeping her grip tight.
"No!" You shout, thrashing around in her arms. You almost get away for a second due to the rain acting as a lubricant. Unfortunately, Suki's grip is much stronger than what you expected. She shoves you close to her body, a hand pressed the middle of your back.
"Would you stop squirming around?" She questions.
You grumble to yourself, falling limp in her embrace.
"Why won't you just leave me alone?"
Suki sighs, pulling away to place both hands on either side of your face, squishing your cheeks gently. Her lips curl into a gentle smile, glancing down at you affectionately.
"I could never do that."
You watch her expression soften. Your jaw slacks and your eyes widen as her expression morphs.
