Insecure. Chapter 6.

I woke up only to see Benny peacefully sleeping in my arms, I smiled while admiring his face, I never really looked at Bennys face so close, I was just smiling while admiring him until he woke up, I quickly looked away as I was embarrassed, plus I was blushing.

"Your up early" Benny said in a husky voice. "Yeah" I said smiling while looking down. "Well, are you up for baseball today?" He asked hugging on to me. "Most definitely" I said looking at him making eye contact. The eye contact stayed there for about 1 minute until I broke it apart, looking away,

"Your eyes are so beautiful." Benny said still admiring me. I blushed. "Thank you Benny, but I'm gonna go home and get ready" I said getting up. "Okay, cya at the sandlot" Benny said getting up to. I went back to my house and noticed lake giving me an odd look.

"What? Why are you looking at me like that" i questioned. "Oh nothing it's just a girl came over today asking where you were, she said she lived a couple houses down." Lake said. "Oh. Okay...." I asked confused but didn't question it. I went upstairs to change.

I finished changing and it was a bit colder then usual so I wore a black sweatshirt with some Nike shorts and white vans. I did my hair into a messy bun and left. I got to the sandlot and saw the boys surrounding a... girl? I was confused. I started walking to them but then I saw Benny sitting at the dugout with his face in disgust. I walked up to him instead.

"Hey why is everyone surrounding a girl?" I asked. "Because she's pretty they say. I don't think so though, I think that your the only pretty girl on this planet." Benny said smiling at me. I smiled back and said "thank you baby" I sat down next to him. "Benny, I saw that your face was like in disgust, why?" I asked, "oh uh I don't wanna talk about it." He said looking away from me.

"Benny you can tell me anything. I wont get mad" I said turning his face to mine. "Fine it's just.... I got here and we were at the dugout waiting for you and then the girl came and sat down on my lap then said "you single?" Then I said "no, I actually have a beautiful amazing girlfriend." Then she said "okay well that doesn't matter." Then she kissed me. And I said "excuse me? I have a girlfriend!" Then she said "yeah well we can keep it our little secret"then I got so mad so I pushed her off me and the boys got mad at me so then she went over to the middle of the sandlot and so did the boys."

"I- lemme meet this brat." I said getting up and walking up to the boys pushing them out of the way. As soon as I saw her I got super super insecure because of how gorgeous she was. I tried not to show it. "Hey brat, so your the one who kissed MY boyfriend?!" I said with an angry tone. "Yeah. What about it?" She said. "Everything you freaking brat, stuck up, SNOB." I said walking over to her and pushing her to the ground. "Oh that is the LAST straw" she said getting up.

Just then, I saw her fist go into my face and then everything went black.

                              Point of view

I saw Clara collapse to the ground. I jumped up running to her. "What did you do to her?!" I asked. "Oops sorry baby." The girl said. "I am NOT your freaking BABY" I said with a sharp mean tone. All the boys were shocked. Just then the boys started getting mad, not at me, but at the girl. "Why the frick would you punch her?! First you, kiss Benny, and now THIS?" Ham announced. "Just leave! And never ever come back!!" Squints said.

"Not until she wakes up. I wanna tell her something." The girl said. "Fine, but you better not hurt her!" I said angry. Time passes and Clara finally wakes up.

                                 CLARAS
                              Point of view

I woke up only to be in Bennys arms. "What happened?" I asked Benny. He explained everything. I was so mad but I didn't have the guts to do anything now. "Oh... okay." I said looking down. "She wants to tell you something by the way." Benny said. I got up and walked to the girl. "Ah finally your awake." The girl said. "What's your name?" I asked. "Gracie. Now let me tell you something." Gracie said. "Okay?.." I said.

"Bennys a sore loser for liking you. Your so ugly and skinny, your like a stick. I can't believe he would pick YOU out of all the girls in town. Your the ugliest person I know. kk bye!"
Gracie said and left. I felt, empty inside. At the moment I wanted to curl up into a ball and die. I walked over to Benny looking down almost crying.

"What'd she say? Did she hurt you?" Benny asked concerned. "Nothing happened Benny. She didn't hurt me." I said while my voice was cracking. "I wanna just go home." I said. "Why what's wrong? You sound sad." Benny said even more concerned.

"I don't wanna talk about it." I said while a tear dripped down my face. "Bye guys. Cya to-tomorrow." I said to everyone. "Wait Clara! Want me to go with?" Benny said catching up to me. I said nothing, cause if I did I would break down.

All I did was nod. "Okay" Benny said slipping his hand into my hand. I thought to myself why am I so dramatic? Actually, no I'm not dramatic. I have dealt with stuff like this in the past and, I was always sensitive about it. "Clara? Clara are you alright?" Benny said concerned. "What? Oh yes I'm- not fine." I started breaking down into Bennys arms. He kinda fell into the street a bit but he didn't care.

"Woah, woah, what happened?" Benny asked. "She- she said I was ugly and didn't deserve you." I said while stuttering. I looked at Benny and his face was shocked. "Well she's out of her mind! Your the most beautifulest, gorgeous, nicest, girl I know." Benny said reassuring me. "Thanks babe. I love you" i said whipping my tears and hugging him. "I love you more."I said.

Hours past and me and Benny are in his room cuddling while watching a movie. I fell asleep in his arms. Benny noticed and turned off the TV then cuddled to me and almost went to sleep until, he grabbed my phone and went to text, he went to lakes contact and texted him and said.

"Hey lake, so I'm going to be spending the night at Bennys house, love you"

Lake responded with

"Okay"

Benny put my phone down and went to sleep with me.

OMG I LOVE this chapter sm!!! Also I know I said I wasn't gonna do violence in this story but maybe just a little is okay, ALSO I HAVE A REALLY GOOD CHAPTER THATS GONNA COME OUT VERY SOONNNN stay tuned! Bye!
