The dance. Chapter 18.

June 30th, 2015.

Today was the day, I was so excited. It was a ball themed dance I got invited too a few weeks ago, the girl who's making the ball let me invite someone as my plus1 obviously I chose Benny.

I quickly left to go to the sandlot, the dance started at 4, so me and Benny had to leave at 2:00. I got to the sandlot and everyone greeted me while Benny gave me a nice warming hug.

I smiled, "let's play some ball!" I yelled. Everyone agreed while we started playing. It was very fun but soon me and Benny had to leave. "Bye guys, we'll see y'all tomorrow" Benny said to the boys. "Have fun! Don't have too much fun though." Timmy said eyeing us down. I got chills down my spine cause it was so weird, I shrugged it off though.

I went to my house and went upstairs. I quickly took a nice shower to get all the sweat and dirt off of me. After that I blowed dried my air and brushed my teeth. I grabbed the ball gown I was going to wear and put it on.

I wanted it too be simple but still nice. After that I did my hair and makeup.

I sighed and looked at myself in the mirror, I was pretty nervous but also excited. I forced a smile but then I looked down. I didn't feel pretty enough, I sighed and tried to ignore it.

I checked the time only to see it was 3:30. I quickly went to text Benny but then I heard a knock. I got up and answered it. There he was, holding a bouquet of blue roses, with a black suit, smiling like an idiot. I smiled and took the flowers. "Thank you" I said pleased.

BENNYS
Point of view

There she was, standing right in front of me, looking beautiful as ever. With her hair all prettied up, her beautiful royal blue gown, and her prettiest feature, her face, especially her eyes, her grayish blueish eyes. Wow shes amazing.

I handed her blue roses and smiled, like a dork. She took them and said thank you. "Are we ready to go?" I asked her. She nodded and took my hand. I called an Uber even though I didn't want too. Once we got there everyone's eyes laid on us. I could notice Clara getting a bit nervous so I squeezed her hand tighter.

We then went to the food and drinks. "Hey babe I gotta go to the bathroom I'll be right back." I said. "Alright, I'll be waiting here." She said with her elegant voice.

CLARAS
Point of view.

The ball room was gorgeous, it had elegant wall designs everywhere, and just so pretty. I admired the room a bit more until someone tapped my shoulder. "You lost pretty lady?" This random guy said. "Uhm... no, I'm not actually." I said sternly. "Who are you waiting for?" The guy said with a husky voice. "My boyfriend." I said getting kind of uncomfortable.

"Ahh your boyfriend, well he doesn't have to know." The man smirked. Okay now I was really getting uncomfortable. I scooted away a little but then he came closer. I was waiting for Benny impatiently while this random guy kept on asking me questions. "Where are you from?" "Do you live around here?" "What's your phone number?" "What's your name? I'm aleck." The guy smirked. I didn't respond. "Oh come on little girl, speak up."

"No. I don't have to say anything to you, I don't know you!" I whisper yelled. The guy was not amused at what I said and grabbed my wrist. "Tell me your name or else." The man said. I waited a couple seconds then said, "no." I glared at him. Soon Benny came and saw. "What the heck are you doing!" Benny said. The guy loosened his grip, I pulled away and grabbed Bennys arm tightly. "What we're you doing." Benny said sternly. "Oh nothingggg just talking" the man smirked.

"Come on Clara let's go." Benny said walked off with me. "Are you okay?" He whispered in my ear. "Yeah... I'm fine." I reassured him. He nodded. After dancing a little my favorite romantic song came on, 'this magic moment.' "Benny, benny! It's my favorite song!" I squealed. Then everyone started to slow dance. Me and Benny were in the middle of the dance floor.

Benny grabbed my waist and pulled me close to him to the point I could feel his minty breath on my shoulder. I smiled at him and he smiled back which gave me butterflies. He started to blush as we slow danced. I rested my head on his shoulder while he pulled me closer and tighter. Man I wish this night would last forever.

Me and Benny looked at each other and smiled. Just then, Benny smashed his lips into mine. It was so passionate, so amazing, it was true love.

Hey guys!! This one is a bit short I'm so sorry, I just can't believe I uploaded 3 times in one day!!! It's so crazy, and I'm gonna continue making another chapter TODAY :) I love making chapters, plus I've been waiting to end this story for a bit now because I have another story planned and I think y'all are going to like it!!
