Why me? Chapter 14.

I laughed as I talked with Benny, waiting for 3:00. I told him I was gonna go grab a drink and be right back, he asked if he could come with but I didn't want him too.

I went downstairs quietly hoping to not make noise so Jackie wouldn't hear, but he did anyways. "what are you doing." He asked with a cold tone in his voice. "Getting water" I said sternly. "Don't you dare talk to me that way." He said. "I can do whatever I want! You can boss me around, I'm done." I said yelling "I RAISED YOU YOUNG LADY." He yelled.

"NO YOU DIDNT! YOU WERE JUST THERE FOR PART OF MY LIFE, BEATING ME UP, EVERY SINGLE DAY." I said almost with tears. Benny heard the screaming and slowly went downstairs. He spied on us, obviously waiting for a good time to show himself.

I was breathing hardly, heavy tears were coming down. I wanted to break down into a million pieces. Jackie got up and walked to me. "You ever disrespect me again and you'll get it." He punched me as hard as he can. I cried, looking for someone with a blurry vision. At last Benny ran into the room screaming my name with tears filling his eyes. I was about to hug him but then, everything went black.

-TIME SKIP-

It was a few hours later and I finally woke up. Benny was snuggled up to me sleeping in my bed at Jackie's house. I had no idea what happened after I blacked out, I felt super sick. I felt like I was about to throw up. I didn't know what was wrong. I quickly got up and ran to my bathroom. I fell down next to my toilet, and started throwing up in there. I felt so light headed.

                               Point of view

I heard puking and woke up, I was confused and looked over and saw that Clara was gone. I jumped out of the bed and saw her by the toilet puking. I ran over to her and grabbed her hair gently to move it out of the way. "Baby, it's gonna be okay." I reassured her. I started rubbing her back softly. She was wearing a white simple crop top that wasn't so tight with sweats so it was easy for me to rub her back.

I felt so bad for her. It had been 2 more minutes and she was done. I helped her back to the bed and scratched her back softly. she was crying softly, I was so sad for her. I was scared and worried what might happen to her if she ever came back, I wanted to protect her with my life.

"Hey babe?" She asked with pain in her voice. "Yes mi amor?" I said worried. "I have a question." She asked softly. "What is it?" I asked. "What... happened when I blacked out?.." she asked wondering. I hesitated to tell her, but did anyway. "Well, Jackie told me to get out of his sight, when you dropped to the floor. I was crying and shaking, I quickly picked you up and went upstairs and layed you down. I sobbed in your arms, hoping you'd wake up soon. Eventually I fell asleep in your arms, then I woke up and blah blah blah."

                                Point of view

"Oh, okay. Thanks for telling me, what time is it?" I asked eagerly. Benny grabbed his phone and checked. "2:30" he said. I jumped up but quickly layed back down, I was so light headed I couldn't even stand. "Don't stand up baby, I can pack your stuff for you." He said smiling. "You need rest." He got up and started packing while I had my eyes shut, resting like he told me to do. It was 2:50 and Benny said he was done. I opened my eyes and smiled.

I looked over at him which his was sitting on the floor counting his coins he had in his pocket. I giggled and looked back up at the ceiling. I shut my eyes for just a couple minutes until I heard a knock. I shot up and almost fell back down, but fought back. Benny looked up at me with a worried face. He jumped up and quickly puts his coins in his pocket. He grabbed my back gently and helped me up.

"Thanks baby." I said giving him a small smile. He shot me a smile back. I grabbed my stuff and went downstairs. "Good your leaving you piece of crap." Jackie says and slaps the back of my head hardly. I ignore it though. I walk outside and saw my mom. I ran with Benny to her because I was still light headed and sick so I needed Benny for support. I gave my mom a hug and went into the car. "I didn't know Benny came with you" she said smirking.

"I told him he could come. I needed him mom" I said laying my head in Bennys lap shutting my blood shot eyes. "mkay..." she said. The car was silent for the rest of the time. We finally got there and I went inside with Benny and went to my room and fell onto my bed. I quickly fell asleep and Benny climbed in with me. He snuggled close and shut his eyes, eventually falling asleep too.

Hey y'all! So so sorry for not uploading!!! I'm really busy with school so that's why:) anyways I think that this chapter is kinda cheesy but it's alr! I do like it, it's just- idek lol 💀 anyways! I'm about to go to bed so I'll try to upload again tomorrow. Also tysm for 100 readers!!!!! Y'all are the best🥰
