Scared. Chapter 12.

I woke up with my hair ratty and my stepdad screaming. "CLARA YOUR DEAD MEAT" I then realized what he was screaming so I quickly got up and ran downstairs. "What?! What's going on??" I asked worrying. "Oh please, don't act dumb!" Jackie yells.

"I-I don't understand! What did I do?!??" I questioned nervously. Jackie rolled his eyes and proceeded to stare at me. A death stare. "Jackie, please I don't understand tell me what I did!" I asked getting annoyed. "You- you HAVE A FREAKING BOYFRIEND AND DIDNT TELL ME" he yelled and slapped me.

I stared at him with my glossy blue eyes. A tear shedded, then more came down. "I- I didn't think you'd want to know..." my voice cracked. "What's his name!" He screamed. "Be-Benny" i said stuttering. I was scared. I was scared what he was gonna do to me, or Benny. "What's his last name twat!" He spat. "R-Rodriguez!" I yelled quietly. "What was that?" He smirked.

He wanted me to yell, so then he could be mad at something. Again. "R-RODRIGUEZ!" I yelled. I'm dead meat. I then realized what I did and backed away slowly. "YOU MAY NEVER, EVER  YELL AT ME. EVER! YOUR GONNA REGRET THAT" he yelled so loud I bet the neighborhood heard.

He was right, I am gonna regret that. I didn't say anything, I was scared what he was gonna say if I said something. "WELL?!? SAY SOMETHING" he yelled. I flinched. "S-sorry" I whispered. "That's what I thought. Now, it's time for you to learn a lesson." I was terrified of what the lesson was.

He grabbed my shirt and slammed me against the wall. I let out a painful groan. He then kicked my stomach twice. I groaned even louder. I was in so much pain, already. He then picked me up by the shirt. "Never disrespect me, ever. Again." he then slapped me twice which left marks. He proceeded to hurt me for another hour. I had some blood on my arm and maybe a scratch on my face that was bleeding. I had bruises everywhere.

"Alright, you may go shower. You stink." He said and dropped me to the floor and left. I got up slowly and went to my room. I just flopped on my bed and started crying. It then became sobbing.

                               Point of view.

I was walking to the sandlot with my head down. I usually am in a good mood but today I wasn't. I missed Clara a bunch. Yes it's only been one day but it's just not the same without her. I cant bare to think what her stepdad has done to her already. I hate seeing her in pain. It breaks my heart.

"Hey guys!" I said trying to seem happy. "Hey Benny man. Whatcha been doing? It's been an hour and you finally show up" ham asked. "Oh yeah.. sorry. I was finding something to wear, all my clothes were dirty." I did a nervous fake laugh. I obviously lied, what I actually did for the hour was cry silently. "Hey um. Do you think we could visit clara today? I mean she's only an hour away so.." I asked.

"That's a great idea Benny!" Kenny agreed. Then everyone agreed. "Okay! Perfect. Let's play some ball then we'll leave at 2:00" I said smiling. I was happy. I was gonna see Clara, i know she's been gone for a day but I just really. Really. Love her. And I miss her. I cant part without her so I'm glad I'm seeing her.

After a few hours of playing ball it was time to get ready and leave. "Alright, meet back here once y'all are done getting ready. We'll then bike their." I said. "Wait.. did you say, BIKE?!" Ham said with a shocked face. "Yeah.. I mean no one else is gonna take us soo..." I shrugged. The boys shake their head. "Alright Benny.. if that's how you wanna roll then so be it." Bertram said. "Okay then cya in a bit!" I left happy.

I still had to let Clara know because I can't just go their without her knowing, because then she'll be in big trouble. I went and grabbed my phone then went to messages.

Hey Baby:) how are you?

I texted her and waited 2 minutes for her reply.

hi baby, I'm not doing so good. What about you?❤️

After reading that sentence, it broke me. She wasn't doing well. I feel so bad for her.

I'm doing okay. I just wanted to let you know that I'm coming over with the boys❤️

She didn't reply, I think she was in shock.

Baby, you can't come over. It's not safe. I don't know what he'll do to the boys or you. I don't want anything to happen to you nor the boys. I love you to much to see you get hurt.

After I read that I had tears in my eyes. She was hurting. She didn't want me to be hurt like her. It broke me.

I'm still coming no matter what. The boys don't have to come but I'm coming.

Benny, please. I don't want you getting hurt. I don't wanna get hurt again to. I cant get thrown against the wall again or slapped a thousand times again. And I especially don't want to see him kick you. Or slap you. I love you too much baby.

I shedded a tear after reading that. She was slapped, thrown against the wall. Gosh who knows what else. I'm worried for her.

Love, i love you too much to see you in pain again. I want to defend you if he try's to hurt you. Let me help you. I love you so much.

She didn't respond. I was worried.

Baby. How do you do it? How do you make me love you even more. How do you make me wanna love you more. How do you make me giggle. How do you make me smile. How do you make me laugh. Gosh i don't even know. I love you so much it's not a joke anymore. I love you! I love you! I love you!

I shedded more tears after reading that. She was so amazing. Her little paragraphs make me smile. She's the absolute best. I love her.

She said I could come, I was so happy. I'm going to let the boys know that they can't come. I wonder how they'd react. I shrugged it off and showered. I changed into my usual outfit that I would normally wear and my PF flyers. I left my house and got on my bike. I went and told the boys and they were fine with it. I started my one hour trip. I just hope Jackie won't be mad.

YALL IM SO SORRY I HAVENT BEEN UPLOADINGDD i just lost motivation! I will be doing a bunch of parts before I start school on august 17th because I will be more busy once that starts. I really hope y'all enjoyed this chapter because i sure did:)
