*** Zuko POV **

Everyone started waking up as she started to wrap up cooking. I'm sure it was the smell of it that woke them since it smells amazing. Which was normal Katara is a really good cook and that's why she is the one who tends to cook the most, but also because we don't want Sokka to cook for us. Not ever again not after the first time. We all learned that the hard way.

Everyone sat around the fire and Katara started handing out the food. Everyone was done in no time and went off to do their own thing Aang was messing with Appa and Toph and Sokka where talking. Now would be a good chance for us to slip away and talk for a bit.

Almost like she read my mind Katara got up and whispered, "Follow me." So I got up and followed her away form everyone.

She went the same way we went yesterday to explore and I just slowly followed her waiting for her to stop somewhere. We kept walking for a few more minutes before she stopped under a big tree. She stood there arms crossed over her stomach as she stared at the ground slightly.

"We need to talk about yesterday." She spoke softly, hesitantly like she wasn't sure what to say or what to do.

I walked a few steps closer to her as I said, "I know we do." Her head shot up slightly to look at me when I spoke.

*** Katara POV ***

My eyes locked into his bright amber eyes and refused to go back to the ground. At this point he was only a step away from me. His eyes held so much emotions it was hard to tell them apart and I wasn't sure what he was thinking or feeling. Which made me more nervous then I already was. I took some steps back towards the tree to give us some space as well as to help clear my head and focus more.

Then all of a sudden he is in front of me and I am trapped between him and the tree with no where to go. His face got really close, but his head went to the side and I could feel his breath on my neck making me hold my breath.

     "I like you."
