Zutara: An Unexpected Surprise

~Katara pov ~

We made it back to where we are staying, but I still could not shake the weird feeling I have. I can't really describe it either. I mean I like him yeah, but this felt different. So I push it aside and help Zuko put the food up.
"Do you want to explore the area a bit with me?" He asked as we put the last bit away and he didn't even glance at me as he asked me.
"Sure." Was all I could get out as I look at him this could be a chance to talk to him.
"Ok let's go then we want to get back before dark." He stated and started walking so I raced after him and when I caught up to him I walked beside him.
He seemed to want to get out of the camp fast, but why? I walked beside him looking around at our surroundings and glancing at him. Some thing seemed off about him.
"Are you ok?" I ask look at him with worry.

~Zuko pov~
I looked down at her her blue eyes glisten with worry. I let out a sigh and look away from her. I don't want to see her worry about me.
"I've just been think about somethings." I say not wanting her to know what I've been thing about at least not right now.
"And what is it that you are thinking about?" She asked standing on her tip toes to be taller and with an eyebrow up.
"It's nothing really." I stated, but it isn't nothing it's everything.
"Then why won't you tell me?" She asks and I knew she could see through my lies.
"Why don't we focus on our exploring?" I say in an attempt to change the topic before I did something stupid.
"Ok fine." She said finally dropping the subject and look away from me.
That's a good thing since I don't think I could of made it any longer with out telling her. That she is what I was thinking about.
