Zutara: An Unexpected Surprise

The river

~Zuko pov~
     I looked down at her. She was up against me and I could till she was hiding her blush. So I let out a soft chuckle and kissed the top of her head.
     "I thought you said we where going to swim." I teased her as she looked up at me.
     "Oh yeah we where and I bet you can't... catch me." She challenge and pushed herself free by pushing me back.
     I fell down with a splash, but quickly got back up. She was already away from me. So I started to race after her.
     "Hey you cheater!" I called out after her joking around.
     "Hey there was no rules so I didn't cheat." She said which was true.
     "Haha ok, but keep that in mind." I mischievous said as I reached her and grabbed her waist pulling her in and turning around before letting go.
     I let go and quickly turned and started swimming again. When I look back she was stun, but was turning around.
     Some strains of her hair was on her face as she raced after me this time. Her blue eyes where brighter then normal because the moon light pouring down on to her. Even her tan skin was paler then normal, but even the moon could not take her beauty.
    
~Katara pov~
     He was looking back at me as I chased him, but I was doing the same thing. His amber eyes looking at me and his bare chest pale by moon light. He was getting cocky so I knew I had to catch up with him.
     So I go under the water to where I could go fast. I open me eyes in the clear water and saw his legs. I pushed water around his legs and clenched my fist making the water freeze.
     I popped back to the surface and saw his confused face. I couldn't help, but giggle at the sight of him like that.
     He looked at me and knew that I froze him. I just kept swimming till I got to him.
      "Hey how are you doing?" I ask with a giggle.
     "Why you!" He puffed and grabbed me pulling me into a hug.
     "I'm guessing it was not the best and you need a hug." I teased as I put my arms around his neck for a real hug.
     "Katara unfreeze me....please" he whines as he put his head on my shoulder.
     "Hmm maybe." I teased him as I unfreeze him still in the hug.
     I did not fool him he knew he was unfrozen I could see it in his smile when he put his head up.
     "You'll pay for that miss Katara." He said playfully and put his head against mine.
     "Oh really is that so?" I ask with a playful voice.
     "That's right." He said softly and he moved this head till our lips where only a few centimetres away from each other.
