It was a sunny day, and the Moby Dick calmly was gliding through the water towards the next island. Marco was standing at the front and deeply took in the salty air. It was nice to be back at sea after the long time and yet it was strange to be there without their captain. From how the rest of the crew was acting, he could see that they were having similar feelings. Everything was a little quieter, a little more unsure. Still, he enjoyed being back together.
The reason for this journey was the invitation of the Straw Hat pirates for a get together and the perfect opportunity for them to sail again. Not far from the island they were heading towards, they had to pass some cliffs, but not a single second he was worried that their navigator might have any kind of problem with it. He had brought the old ship through way worse scenarios.

All of sudden a shadow flew over his head and with a thud something landed on the ship. He whirled around, automatically going into a fighting stance as he saw person standing on deck, but he dropped it just as fast. It was a woman, a smile on the pretty face "Heya losers". His eyes widened as he realized who was standing there but he barely was able to believe it "______?". "You bet, old man" the smile turned into a smirk and there it was again – the young girl they once had taken into their crew and raised until she one day had left to find her own way. And now she had returned as a woman. An absolutely stunning woman. Slim muscles formed a curvy body, a twinkle laid in the blue eyes, and she playfully was wielding the weapon that was so similar to the one of their deceased father with such ease that hinted how deadly she was with it.

You looked around the ship that you had grown up on. Not much has changed there, only the crew had grown older but not in a bad way. Especially Marco. You had to hold back a blush as you studied the man that never had stopped gawking at you. He wasn't the only one staring at you, all of the men did, but he was the one you had your attention on. Ever since you had been old enough to appreciate men, you did have a crush on him, and it seemed that it even had survived your time apart. No surprise since he now appeared to be even more buffed, his shoulders broad and strong and with the glasses he looked so distinguished. Sexy.
Realizing that all of you had been standing like this for ages and cleared your throat "So, are you guys finally greeting me?"
Finally, everyone woke from their state of shock. "_______!", the crew cheered and jumped you. Giggling you were pulled from one to the next and hugged everyone until two strong hands landed on your shoulders. At the sight of the muscled chest, marked with the Whitebeard symbol, you instantly blushed. The hairs on your nape raised when his breath fanned along your ear. "It is good to see you again". Marco smiled and squeezed you gently, yet pulled his hand away when feeling the slightly rough skin of a scar along your shoulder. He frowned. Blue flames were licking at his fingers at the instinctive reaction to heal you "What is that?". Looking at the mark, you just shrugged "A reminder to not get too cocky". You still had been young and a little too full of yourself until an opponent had taught you otherwise. Now that the others noticed it as well, they once again crowded around you, needing to see that you were all right. "Guys. Guys!", you took a step away from them and raised your hands "It's only a scar, just like every single one of you is carrying some" their worry may be nice, but you had grown out of it and their devastated expression for a wound that had healed ages ago was a little irking.
