"Wait...what...?".

Bubbles stared at him dumbfounded. Is he trying to help me? She thought to herself and felt a growing bit of hope. Maybe he wasn't trying to be her enemy after all. Maybe they could be friends and they could all—. "I hope you're not thinking about giving me a friendship bracelet any time soon blondie", Butch spoke with amusement. Bubbles looked over at him and noticed he moved closer to her with his body already emitting a green aura. She quickly shook her head and decided to try her new tactic. Talking like your life depends on it, which in this case it just might.

"Well, I just thought that maybe since you're trying to help me we could try to be a little more civil", she spoke with clear hope in her voice. Butch only chuckled at her new found hope. "Listen babe, i'm only here to make sure you can keep up with me next time. I don't want to knock you out of the game too soon. But maybe if you try hard enough we could be a little more than friends", he smirked at her now reddening face. She's never been talked to like that. Sure there were boys who would flirt with her but that was just clumsy flirting like "you're cute" or "if you were a booger i'd pick you". Shaking herself out of her daze she quickly shook her head. "Thanks, but I don't think my sisters would like me taking classes from our enemy. I don't even think your brothers are going to like this either actually". Butch stepped closer making her tense up and assume a defensive stance, "our siblings don't have to know about this babe. Besides, I don't think you could handle your own even if you trained out here for hours on end. I'm doing you a favor, either take it or enjoy getting beaten without being able to defend yourself", he spoke with a sudden harshness. He was serious. She could just walk away and reject his help. But, he was kinda right. She can't hold her own against him and if what he says is true then they must be planning another attack.

With a shaky sigh she decides to ignore their future plans about attacking in the future since he was basically already doing her a favor. With a sharp nod Bubbles agreed to his help, "but first we need to set some rules", Butch spoke suddenly. Bubbles again nodded, "of course". "First rule, you are not to tell anyone what happens here. Second rule, you are to do as I say. If I tell you to climb up that tree without using your powers you will do it without questioning me. Rule three, you can't bring anyone back here. That includes your sisters. Rule four", he pauses for a second before his usual smug smirk reappears on his face, "don't fall for me". That got a small smile out of Bubbles. There was no way that was ever going to happen.

With the rules finally set, Butch went over to sit on the boulder where Bubbles put her shopping bags. He made no effort to move them out of the way before settling down on top of them. Bubbles let out a cry in protest but before she could tell him to get off he was already speaking, "now", he said settling back into her new clothes, "climb up that tree without using your powers", he smiled menacingly. She looked at him with her mouth agape. He really used one of his examples against her.

Looking up at the tree he pointed to she found it to be just about the second tallest tree in the area. She gave him an uneasy side glance and saw him staring back at her with a bored expression. Not wanting to even try to reason or bargain with him she turned and started climbing. On the bright side she was always the better climber among her sisters, on the bad side she was still wearing a mini skirt with booties and this tree was beyond large. With a shaky hand she grabbed onto the branches carefully and began hoisting herself up slowly. She was actually proud of herself as she found that she was starting to near the halfway mark. But as she looked down she noticed that he was looking up at her. Suddenly remembering her outfit she panicked and let go of the branch above her to pull at the hem of her skirt on instinct. Having no support system anymore she felt herself start to fall backwards until she couldn't feel the branch she was standing on anymore. She gave out a startled yelp and began falling off the tree.
