"Excuse me?" Danielle was in a mild state of shock, but the main emotion that was flooding through her was rage. "I don't know who you think you are, but I don't have any brothers or sisters. I was... I AM an only child!"
"Believe me or not Dani, I don't care." Danielle stood stiff and straightened her spine more so.
"What did you just call me?" Reagan tried to hold Danielle back as she advanced towards Camilia, who wasn't backing down as she made her approach.
"Dani. Does that bother you?" Danielle growled and gritted her teeth.
"Immensely. I suggest if you don't wish to be shipped back to your mate in pieces that you close your mouth and never call me Dani." Camilia looked indifferent and shrugged before looking down at her fingers, cleaning dirt out from her under her fingers.
"Make me Sarcova." Camilia looked back at Danielle as both their eyes flashed wolf.
"You don't know what you're getting yourself into." Danielle gritted out.
"I know perfectly well what I'm getting myself into... I was forewarned about this." Camilia give a sickly sweet smile as Danielle assessed her again before turning to her uncle.
"You told her... about me? Why wasn't I ever told that I had a sister?! Were you ever going to tell me?!"
"Danielle-"
"No. You lied to me Uncle Reagan. You, Aunt Rachael... Even mum and dad! You're all a bunch of liars!" She turned to look at the man who was now standing behind Camilia. Danielle glared at him and looked him over. "Perfect, you've even got your own personal flying monkey." Danielle says with a roll of her eyes.
"Flying Monkey? I don't know about you sweetheart, but I don't sport no wings." The man says back to her. Danielle turns her attention back to him, her eyes drilling into his.
"That's where you're wrong; you lost them when the wicked witch of the west left you hanging on your pedestal."
"So then what does that make you?" He raises an eyebrow and a smirk tugs at his lips.
"I'm the Devil's Advocate Moonshine." She gives him a wicked grin. "You do not want to cross me. Ever."
"Carved from the same stone then eh?" Danielle snorts.
"Wouldn't think so. You are different to me Moonshine. Very different."
"Why Moonshine?" She raised an eyebrow at him.
"It's something that turns your priorities... It blurs your vision and tampers with you reasoning and judgment... Much like you my dear boy."
"You're calling me dangerous?"
"I'm calling you addictive. You stay out too long and many people will get hurt. Get the picture?"
"I could say I need the air to perfect myself." Danielle snorts again.
"Perfect... Define perfect."
"You're looking at it."
"'Fraid not my dear boy... There are those out there that would eat you alive. Sooo, I'd rethink that ethic of yours before you fall from your impressively high perch."
"Don't you mean impossibly high perch?"
"Nope; my perch is much higher than yours. For more reasons than I care to mention." She turns to her uncle. "You are free to go home, but I'm staying." She heard a gasp come from two people, she was pretty sure one was Sarge and one was her so called sister.
"Are you sure?" Reagan asked.
"What is it with people asking if I'm sure? I called Aunt Rachael and I spoke with her. Her main concern is you Uncle Reagan. I'm fine here. I haven't been hurt yet. I'm safe and you know it takes a lot more to hurt me." Reagan knew the reasoning behind her words and sighed with defeat.
