Detention (15)

After school ended fairly quickly, and me and the gang (yes I'm going to call them that) walked to the detention room. It's so stupid that I got detention for this shit but oh well. It's only one of my first few days here and I already fucked it up. Eh it's fine. Everything will be fine.

We made it to the detention room and I saw kat, jamie, Judd, and maybe two other people in there. Kat was talking to someone at the door which I recognized to be chad, so I left her be for a sec. We walked over to the back of the room where another girl was sitting. She was pretty short, with short, darker brown hair. She had a sketchbook she was drawing in. It looked pretty cool. I decided to sit next to her despite my social anxiety.

I sat down and turned my attention towards her. "Hi" I said as I smiled and waved. She looked over at me and looked almost confused as to why I was talking to her. But she waved back and smiled before going back to her sketchbook. "What're you drawing ?" I asked, trying to help her not feel so anxious about me sitting by her.  "Oh- just-" she said as she turned her sketchbook to show an anime guy. I heard Jess move from next to me to see what it was. "AYE HORNY TORNADO GUY" Jess yelled. "no, thats hinata, you cretin" kallen added. The girl next to us laughed.

"I'm y/n" I said as I stuck out my hand. She quickly shook it, saying "my names Shea !" With a big smile plastered across her face. "I really like your style, all of your styles" she said as she gestured towards me and the gang. "Oh thank you so much!" I replied and the others gave various thanks. We sat there for a minute joking around and after that she asked "so what're you in for ?" And wiggled her eyebrows. "I killed a man" I said as I put my hand on my chest. "I helped" Jess said as she slung an arm over my shoulders. "I robbed the natural history museum" blade said. "And I watched from the car" kallen said. Shea started laughing.

"Okay but seriously, I'm here for running out of class and not coming back fast enough, blade over here is in for throwing a pencil at the light and breaking it. Kallen jumped into the recycle bin then tipped it over, and Jess dropped a book and said 'motherfucker' " I laughed at the last part. "Don't forget she stuttered" blade added. "Oh yeah, she said 'mm— mother fucker' " I laughed harder and Jess smacked the back of my head. Shea was laughing too, and blade was doubled over laughing. "Well what're you in for, ms shea?" I asked.

"Well.. I was in class and I was talking to my girlfriend, Ashlyne, and holding her hand, and I kissed her hand and the teacher said that we were going to hell for being such 'scummy people'. Sooo I did the first thing I could think of and stood up and said 'you know, I'm sure you're going to hell for looking at teen girls asses and making seductive comments towards them, so I guess I'll see you there.' And I walked out of the room" she explained. I put my hand on her shoulder "I'm proud of you for sticking up for what you think is right" I told her. She smiled. "Thanks, I've been in detention for a while so I'm supposed to leave in a few minutes" she said as she looked at her phone. She had a haikyuu lockscreen.

"Alrighty, I hope that you have fun once you get outta here" I said. She smiled and nodded as she put her stuff in her bag. Next thing I know, I see a tall girl, with beautiful long black hair, and glowing tan skin walk into the room. "Shea ! You can leave now, cmon !" She yelled as she pushed up her glasses. "That's her, she's driving me to her house after this" shea said. "Here, give me your number" I said, and she handed me a pre-written paper with her number on it. "Cya !" She yelled as she ran over to the girl, interlocking their fingers.

After they left the room, kat came stomping in with chad following her. She sunk aggressively into a chair and put her head in her hand. "Kat, you can't keep doing this shit" chad said to her sounding irritated. " me ? ME ? I CANT KEEP DOING THIS SHIT ?" She replied as she stood up and got in his face. "Yeah, YOU" chad replied as she pushed her back into her chair. That's when I walked over to them and pulled kat back out of the chair and moved in front of her. "Is there a problem here ?" I said in 'chads' face. "Yeah, now there is. It's you, fucking move" he said. "Nah, I don't think so." I said as I pulled kat into my side. He looked at kat and said "you need to stop being so fucking sensitive over everything bro.". "Are you fucking kidding me ? YOU PUT YOUR EX INTO MY LIFE WHEN I DIDNT WANT HER THERE. You fucking KNEW I DIDNT LIKE HER AND DIDNT WANT TO BE INVOLVED WITH HER." She replied, getting more and more pissed.  "Bro she did nothing to you" he replied. "The hell she didn't ! But it doesn't matter, if she makes me uncomfortable then my feelings should be more prioritized than this bitches !" Kat said before I motioned for her to go sit in my seat.

"She's way too good for you. I can tell you're a real piece of shit." I said. I took a step forward towards him "get. Out." I seethed to chad before following kat back to my desk. Chad scoffed "whatre you gonna do? Fuck my girlfriend?" He laughed at his own joke. "Oh hun, why do you think I'm in detention?" I said and winked and continued walking back over to kat. He rolled his eyes and left the room . Well the rest of detention will be fun with kat here.
