as we started walking over to the store, i saw a face i really didnt want to see. fuckin jake. he was with his buddy from earlier, and another dude. greeeaaaat. i just ignored them and clung onto judds arm. He didn't really seem to mind or really even take notice to it. I kept smoking and even walked into the store with it. No one stopped me. Most of us ended up going our separate ways, but Jamie came with me to go get non alcoholic drinks. Judd went to get alcohol, Jess went to get sweet stuff like candy and cookies n shit, blade was in charge of chips, and kallen was gonna get a frozen pizza or something. Or microwave chicken nuggets. I hope he gets chicken nuggets. Or pizza rolls. Jamie didn't know what the fuck to get which is why he went with me.
Soooo We walked to the back ish of the store and were looking at drinks. "What do you think everyone will drink ?" Jamie asked me. "I don't know, jus get like- root beer, sprite, and monster and we should be fine" I said as I threw out my cig that has now died. "Alright, can you get a basket thing ?" Jamie requested. "Yeah sure, do you have any cigs on you ?" I asked as my anxiety seemed to just get worse by the second. "Uhh yeah" Jamie said as tapped his pockets to see which one had the box in it. He handed me a cancer stick and lit it for me. "Thaaaank youuu" I replied as I speed walked away to go get the basket.
Then on my way back to Jamie I saw someone I wanted to see the least at this very moment. Jake. He pushed me against the shelves and it kinda really hurt. I still had my cigarette in my hand and i was going to be very sad if I dropped it. I pretended to not care and just took a very big hit, blowing the smoke into jakes face in an attempt to annoy him. He coughed and it looked like it burnt his eyes. Which he was distracted I started walking to the fridges where Jamie was, but I heard jake behind me, so I texted Jamie as fast as I could. Just the words "jakes here. Help" and shoved my phone in my bra before jake finally got to me and shoved me against the wall again.
I sat there just listening to him and not caring because I new Jamie would be here in a second. I continued to look him dead in the eyes and smoke the rest of the cigarette I had until I heard the sound of footsteps and a chain jangling. That's Jamie. Next thing I knew, Jamie was standing 3 feet away from me and was confronting jake. Sure Jamie wasn't super muscular, but he was fairly tall and with his piercings he looked pretty scary.
"Is there a problem over here?" Jamie asked with his arms crossed. "Not for you, just this little doll that thought it'd be funny to keep what I want away from me." Jake replied. I rolled my eyes. I thought he hadn't seen. But he did. He turned to me and put his hand on my throat. "Don't roll your eyes at me, doll." He spat. That's when Jamie came over to me and pulled me out of jakes grasp and held onto my hand. I then picked up the basket that I had dropped next to me. "Listen, jake or whatever the fuck your name is, you really need to leave her be or you're gonna get yourself into some deep shit." Jamie threatened, he then kept ahold of my hand and started to lead me to the fridge we were at before. "Jesus, girl. We need to get you a panic button or some shit" he said as we walked back.
We got the drinks, I texted the rest of the people that we came with, and we all went up to the front, payed, and left. Once we got in the car, Jamie was telling Judd about what had happened in the store with Jake. Judd was holding onto the steering wheel so tightly that his knuckles were very very white. Jess was listening into their convo and rubbed my back to comfort me. I gave her a soft smile so she knew I was okay.
After we got home, all the boys were putting away some of the stuff, and getting drinks, but me and Jess were going to go downstairs and find a movie or something to watch. He settled on f/m (favorite movie) and we sat on the couch with like five blankets waiting for the guys. I could tell tonight was gonna be fun, and it was still early on which gave us lots of time .
