Aria woke the next morning to the sounds of birds chirping and the smell of salt that had become to smell like home. She rolled over and knocked something hard, Aria recognisezd the smell and touch of him.
JJ laid sleeping next to her with his arms warpped around her hips and he tugged her closer to him, Aria gasped while pulling the blanket up a bit. She saw her own naked body laying under the covers and saw his bare upper half, not allowing herself to look any lower.
Her mind raced with the thoughts of the night before.
'Are we now together? Am I supposed to call him boyfriend? Do I want to call him boyfriend? Of course I did but what if he thinks I'm just like the other girls he sleeps with? If he really cared about me, what would happen?'
Aria was overthinking and it took everything in her not to just climb out the window and leave the boy sleeping. She sighed and slowly climbed out of his arms and went into the kitchen. Due to the numerous amount of nights Aria and JJ spent sleeping together, she knew how to get out of his grasp.
Aria looked around the kitchen for anything she could potentially cook, she found a pancake mix that had probably been there too long but it didn't matter, they were use to that type of food.
As Aria started cooking, not really knowing what else to do, JJ woke up alone. Normally he would be relieved if he woke up alone after the events of last night, but not with Aria. He knew how she normally responded to being with guys and he started to worry.
JJ almost flew through the house franctically looking for Aria, relief washed over him when he saw her in her ouwn thoughts cooking food. JJ questioned what to do but he didn't really have power over his own body.
JJ shifted towards Aria unwillingly and wrapped his arms around her waist. Something about her just called out to him, and something about her always wished JJ with by her side. JJ kissed her cheek and rested his head on her shoulder.
"Hey baby, what you cooking?" JJ asked finally coming to terms with how he approached the situation.
"Um, pancakes," Aria spoke still not knowing what to do. This is how JJ would normally treat her, so did that mean that last night didn't mean anything to him? Aria started overthinking again.
"Stop doing that." JJ said clearly knowing what she was think about.
"Hm, what? Stop doing what?" She snapped out of her thoughts.
"Stop overthinking about this, Aria..." JJ grabbed her hands lightly and turned her around so her back was agaisnt the counter and he was standing infront of her. "I like you, okay? I really do,"
"Um, th-thank you..." Aria muttered awkardly and regretted her choice of words straight away.
"Thank you? You're saying thank you." JJ laughed knowing she didn't normally do this, but then again, neither did he.
"Oh okay well, what do you want me say? Do you want me to say how muck I like- the pancakes." Aria cut herself off when she remember them behind her.
"How much you like the pancakes?" JJ laughed as she sent him a glare.
"What does this, um, mean for us?" Aria almost whispered the last bit.
"What do you want it to mean?"
"No, don't, don't diflect the question. Just give me a straight answer JJ." Aria sighed,
"Well I want whatever you are comfortable with, but, I want you. So do you just, i don't know, wanna be my girlfriend?" JJ asked in a whipser Aria almost missed it.
