Before we left, I tried asking Kendrick about this "Kayla" girl but he was ignoring me all whilst we were driving to the restaurant, and his phone wouldn't stop pinging .

"You should really check that, prolly yo other girlfriend." I said watching him focus intently on the road.

"Stop playin wit me Ma, you know you're my only girlfriend."

He said tryna intertwine his finger with mine but I moved my hand.

"Don't touch me. If I'm yo only girlfriend why the fuck you gotta next bitch blowing up yo phone!?"

"Baby, stop bein like that. The only reason ion blocked her yet is cause I gotta surprise for her lil thot ass."

Finally, we pulled up to the restaurant Canoe.

Once we were finally seated inside our private booth I decided to break the silence.

"What you mean you gotta surprise for her, is you cheatin?" I said trying to make sense of this situation.

"Ja'kia don't ask me no stupid shit like that again, I juss got you and you already think I'm being unfaithful."

He only calls me Ja'kia when he's serious or upset, it's always Ma or Baby so I knew I hit a nerve.

But I didn't give a fuck.

"I'm sorry for thinking like that, but you know I'm an over thinker and you won't tell me nothin so of course I'm finna suspect the worst."

"Ma stop worrying about it, you'll see what I mean by surprise. Now let's call the waiter so we can get started on this date."

He quickly flagged down a waiter before I could even object.

"Good evening, my names Carli and I'll be your wait-." Was all she said before noticing Kendrick.

"omg are you Nba Youngboy, it's such a pleasure to have you here, can I get a picture!? is there any special needs that you need fulfilled." She said looking at Kendrick before biting her lip.

Homegirl was asking him a wholeeeee lotta questions n I knew ain't no muhfuccin way she juss asked that; especially wit me here.

"Look here Cali or whatever your name is, do your fucking job and stop drooling over my nigga before I knock both your eyes out."

I heard Kendrick chuckle under his breath and I seen that the waitress was immediately taken aback by my response.

"I'm so sorry miss, is there anything I can get for the both of you?" She said trying to hide her embarrassment.

"A new fuckin waiter would be nice, now run along." I said before watching her practically sprint off.

"Damn Ma, you keep up that aggressive shit and I might take you right here in this booth." He said wrapping his hand around my waist.

About 2 minutes later we were greeted with a new waiter who took our drink orders. 

I ordered a Mojito whilst Kendrick asked for a bottle of Cognac.

"I'll be back with your orders shortly." The young waiter said before turning around to go.

"Sooooo it's a lot of stuff you know bout me but ion kno nothin about you." I said looking him in his hazel eyes.
