I was watching the training quietly...Wild junior high, huh? I looked to see Tess and Chloe next to me.
"They're improving" Chloe nodded. "We shouldn't have disagreed with you Captain"
"They've not improved far enough" I shook my head.
"I'm still not impressed with the level of training....We'll see after this match" I said.
"Captain" Chloe said.
"They'll win" Tess said as i bit my lip.
"I hope they do" I said....Wild jr is known for their crazy abilities...no doping activity charges have been proven so therefore their participation is 100% legal.
"They're just animals....s'all" Chloe shrugged.
“Explain animals” Tess said as Chloe shrugged.
“From all the data I gathered….They have animal like instincts and their looks” Chloe shivered.
“Nice data you’ve got there…It seems like the managers have that covered” Tess smirked.
“I’m not here for that anyway” Chloe said as I glanced at them.
“What do you want?” I asked monotone
“An explanation” Tess said.
“Of what” I asked.
“Of you…why do you do this to yourself….Hiding that damn illness not letting anyone help you” Tess said.
“Not even your family knows what’s really wrong with you…A bit of asthma….You’ve never gotten a crisis” Chloe said.
“You’re deviating from your routine” Tess said. “And we’re scared”
“I…I’m not deviating…it’s just…My condition’s on a whole another level right now…My routine is still not enough…with the dance, the running….the fresh air….I have no idea what to do next” I said biting my lip.
“Soccer…Soccer will help you…It can heal you” Chloe said as I sighed looking back at them.
“I….will join today after the match against wild junior high…if you’ll excuse me” I said leaving to the tree leaning on it to get a closer view of the training as I felt a hand on my shoulder.
“Miss Winters, the doctor would like to see you for your appointment” Alexander, my butler said.
“I don’t have an interest in the Hospital today” I shook my head as I felt another tap on my shoulder…it was Olivia, my care taker.
“It might have to do with your….health ma’am” Olivia said worry creasing on her face as I glared at them.
“Since when have you two decided to team up and bring me to the hospital?” I crossed my arms.
“Skyla….Please go, I don’t want to lose you the way we are slowly losing Skylar” Nelly’s voice came from behind me…I turned to meet her worried gaze.
“Fine…But after this and not a word you three will discuss about my health, got that?” I sighed.
Nelly smirked as I glared at her looking back at the boys training one more time before stepping into the car and letting them drive me to the hospital.
I looked out of the car window throughout the ride worried about the training.
“I’m sure they’ll be alright” Alexander said.
“They have to be…They can’t certainly bail on us at the beginning of the nationals now” I said.
“What’s gotten you so interested with them? Until a few weeks ago…All you cared about was maintaining your health…Keeping soccer at bay…Visiting your sister at the hospital…going to your own health appointments but now….you’ve become so….how do I put this?”Olivia smiled at me gently from the side rearview mirror.
“You think I’m slacking off?” I asked her narrowing my eyes at her.
“It’s that way miss” Alexander said pulling up at the curb in front of the hospital.
“Do visit your sister dear…I think her treatment’s been tough on her and you will want to walk back to school…we presume” Olivia said as I got out of the car.
“Of course…I’ll see you both whenever I have the time to talk….I’m focusing on soccer now so I won’t have time for anything else…mostly” I said but pausing after I heard what Olivia said next.
“The poor thing’s denying her own critical condition just to support soccer…I sure hope it’s not that bad” Olivia said just before the car sped off back to the mansion I suppose.
I sighed before entering the hospital and going to my doctor’s office….Doctor Alex.
“Ah….Skyla, I see you have finally decided to come for your check-ups?” Doctor crossed his arms.
“I got…busy with wondering what to add to my routine…..It’s not like I need it now, right?” I asked hopeful that I was getting better.
“Actually…you do…I heard from Skylar that you’re hesitant to play soccer” Doctor Alex said as I glared at him before sighing.
“I…didn’t want to pull them back” I said looking down as I sat across the table from the doctor.
“She mentioned from Jude that apparently the captain is Mark Evans…Grandson of David Evans” Doctor Alex said as I scoffed.
“Lemme guess…you know the whack-o too?” I asked.
“I see you share your Grandmother’s views on him too?” Doctor Alex said.
“Well…Family is Family” I shrugged.
“Apparently…Mark Evans has a fighting spirit…Whatever that means and has been looking for a means to gain friends in this soccer club of his” Doctor Alex shrugged. “You joining could do wonders to your physical health”
"With a resulting Brain tumor....i think i prefer visiting the Cancer patients only…thank you very much" I sassed rolling my eyes.
"Skyla...This is Japan's first time with this and we don't want to lose you...." Doctor Ales pleaded with me.
"I already made up my mind...I'm going to join after the match against Wild junior high." I said huffing to the side.
"Good Choice.....why after though?" Doctor Alex asked.
"I don't know...It's probably just an instinct gut...." I shrugged.
“You have one of those? I thought you were a risk taker?” Doctor Alex joked closing my file record.
“If it wasn’t proven that I am a risk taker by going to school and constantly defying my routine…I don’t know what will” I shrugged getting up to leave as Doctor Alex nodded.
I passed by Skylar’s room on my way out…I paused to look at the door debating if I should open it or not.
“Protect that soccer team of yours….Skyla”
“Never give up”
“Please Join them….It’d make me happier to know you’re okay and happy too”
“Skyla…The cancer its critical and I want your condition to be cured….Do me a favor, Join the soccer club”
Skylar’s voice echoed in my head….all what she said to me these past weeks were those that all told me to join the club…I sighed raising my hand to knock but I paused in mid-air.
“If you’re not joining the soccer club anytime soon….Don‘t visit me”
Skylar’s threatening voice came….I let out the breath I was holding and stared at her door for some time before finally deciding to leave the hospital.
I walked past the swimming pool before seeing a sight of Jack in the swimming pool…Water splashed on Mark and Silvia was there too. They came out with a shivering Jack.
“What are you?” I asked as Mark hugged me.
“You see Jack’s afraid of heights” Silvia explained.
I nodded slowly looking at the said boy…Jack the scaredy cat…Hehe.
“So? What has a swimming pool got to do with soccer anyway?” I raised my brow.
“It’s so he can get over his fear” Mark argued as we walked back to school.
“A fear….It’s not like he broke up a relationship with someone” I said slowly cringing at that thought.
“Huh?” Mark looked at me clueless…I looked at him glancing back to the road.
“You can’t leave fears like men up and leave their women….Fears are faced” I said lowly.
“Of course….Will you help?” Silvia asked as I smiled closing my eyes.
“Sure….I won’t be any help to the soccer club if I didn’t” I said opening my eyes again.
“You’re always a big help!” Mark said hugging me again.
I pushed him off me lightly.
We stopped at the playground and Jack got on the slide but he was scared.
“I-I’m scared” Jack shivered as I sweat dropped.
“Eh, even with this?” Mark asked as we got him over to the monkey bars.
“I-I’m so scared” Jack shivered holding tightly to the bars.
“Seriously?” I asked face palming.
“This is tough” Mark said as we walked back to the soccer clubroom.
“I….Just can’t” Jack said as I groaned.
“Ugh…say that to me one more time and I’ll damn cut your little legs into pieces” I snapped.
“….” Mark, Jack and Silvia were speechless.

“80cm cleared” Willy said taking back the measuring tape.
“Alright…next will be one meter” Mark said as Jack continues shaking….
“Jack use your fighting spirit and guts with those you’ll be able to overcome everything” Mark told the sweat dropping Jack.
“If that’s the case, your grades should be at the top too” Jack said as Mark sweat dropped and I snickered.
“In the match against Wild junior high…we’ll need the Inazuma drop to win” Nathan said.
“Jack, we’re depending on you” Nathan said.
“Well…not completely, we could always look for another move” I shrugged as they glared at me.
“Not helping” Kevin seethed.
“Even if you say it like that” Jack sweat dropped.
“I said I won’t let you suffer alone” Mark said.
“Captain….” Jack said as I leaned against the wall.
“If the opponent’s strong, we just have to become stronger than them” Mark said.
“Yeah, we’ll all do our special training and every one of us will level up” Nathan said.
“Yeah” We all said except Jack.
“I’ll hang on a little more” Jack said as the boxes underneath him squished making him fall.
Everyone sweat dropped
“Well…no one said learning a new special move was easy” I shrugged as we walked away to the riverbank to start training.
Kevin was trying to shoot balls into the net with incredible speed…Keyword trying.
Mark kept catching it though…Nathan was also working on improving his speed…Steve his dribbling and I watched all these smiling at them….Joining their team will be fun for sure.
I went back to where Silvia and Celia were sitting to get a water bottle, I was thirsty you know.
Bobby was walking past the field.
“Everyone’s getting pumped up” Bobby said as I glared at him…he noticed but ignored it.
“Bobby, what about your training?” Silvia asked
“Well, as a newcomer, there’s no possibility that I’ll debut, so I’m just taking my time” Bobby said with his hands behind his head.
“Bobby…” Silvia smiled.
“Tch…Take all the time needed Bobby” I said walking back to the field.
‘The nerve he has’ I thought irked off at Bobby….He wouldn’t even talk to me like the entire thing put us off.
Getting back to the field I saw Jack on the ground again…Looks like they tried Inazuma Drop again.
“No matter how I think it’s impossible” Jack cried as I got there.
“Maybe you shouldn’t think only do” I said helping him up as Mark and Axel sighed.

I was walking home with Mark when we heard some noises at the Inazuma Steel tower.
We looked up to see Axel trying to jump with an unstable stepping stone.
“Looks like you’re at it” Mark said running up the stairs as I walked up the stairs too rummaging my bag for bandages and a water bottle.
“You stayed behind to do special training? Training to jump without a stable stepping stone….I’ll do it too” Mark said as I handed Axel the water bottle he gladly took and drank.
“You two are nutcases….Especially you” I said narrowing my eyes at Mark….”But I love the passion for soccer you have”
“Mark…” Axel said as Mark gave him a toothy grin.
Mark smiled at me as I glared at him.
“You’re not doing it…I only have enough bandages for one person” I said sending an apologetic smile to Axel.
“Nah…It’s okay, I’ll do what you’re doing…watch and support” Mark said as Axel nodded.
“I do more than watch and support…I criticize your poor learning skills” I pouted.

I walked up to Skye’s room looking at her peaceful sleeping form….or not, I sighed as she giggled.
“It’s almost midnight Skye, why aren’t you asleep?” I demanded in a stoic tone so she could tell I was trying not to smile.
“I wanted to wait up for you” Skye said smiling at me.
“Why would you do that?” I asked sitting on her bed smiling down at her.
“Because….Julia does that every night for her brother and since you like him” Skye started.
“You are too young for this” I shook my head. “He’s a teammate”
“You’re on the team?” Skye smiled as I sweat dropped.
“No…it’s not like that” I said shaking my head
“Huh? Then you’re not on the team?” Skye pouted.
“I am….I guess” I said scratching the back of my head nervously….sheesh the things my siblings have gotten me into these days.
I sighed walking up to my room not before casting a glance at the portrait hung just opposite my door…A picture of Eric, Sky,Skylar,Skye and I in soccer jerseys me holding the ball grinning widely posing cutely…Me on Eric’s shoulders….Skye on Sky’s shoulders and Skylar sitting on the grass crossing her legs inwards.
‘What happened to us now? Why…did we go separate paths?’ I thought entering my room to change to my night wears….Today is the preliminary match for the football frontier after all

I got out of Nelly’s car to see a jungle looking place with school structured buildings.
I sighed sadly….. “This isn’t really” Nelly sweat dropped at the sight.
“This place is Wild Junior high?” Mark asked “So it’s in a jungle like this?”
I heard noise coming from behind me to see some kids gathered around Nelly’s car doing something I can’t even possibly describe.
“W-What is going on?” Nelly and I asked in sync.
“That’s them, Wild junior high’s soccer club” Celia pointed at them.
“Well…I’ll hand it to this soccer club; they’re really full of wild people.” I crossed my arms in annoyance.
“How can we lose to them…?” Kevin said.
“Alright…don’t give me that you’ve heard how true those rumors could possibly be, now go get ‘em” I said

“There are a lot of people watching so the football frontier is really starting…I’m fired up, For the sake of people who came to cheer for us, we have to do our best” Mark said.
“Say, aren’t they all cheering for Wild junior high?” Nathan asked as Mark sweat dropped.
“Why would a weak team like us have a cheering squad?” Kevin asked.
“We do! Look” Mark said pointing to Jack’s little brother and his friends with megaphones cheering them on I suppose.
“I need to go to the toilet” Jack said as Kevin, Max, Steve and Mark prevented him from leaving.
“The match is starting soon” Mark said as they got him back there and got on the field…As the referee blew the whistle…I got a phone call
“Hello?” I asked.
“Oh, we need you to come to this clash really quick captain…Diane got aggressive and we got challenged” Tess said.
“I’m….on my way” I said putting my phone into my purse leaving.
“Dance squad emergency…C’mon Nelly” I said as we left the school back to Inazuma Town….She dropped me off at the venue as she went back to the match.
~~TIME SKIP TO WHEN THEY GOT BACK TO SCHOOL~~
I watched the match with Tess and smiled…They won they really won…I sighed as Nelly and I sneaked into the clubroom, she got back early just for this…geez woman.
“It’ll be a great surprise for Mark” Nelly giggled.
“And why do you care about that?” I raised a brow at her.
“Mind your business cousin” Nelly scoffed as I smirked.
We heard voices outside as we smirked to see Mark’s shocked face when he opened the clubroom door.
“Why are you here?” Mark asked as I pouted.
“And here I was thinking I’m a joy to the club” I sassed rolling my eyes.
“From today onwards, I Nelly Raimon will be Raimon soccer club’s manager. Nice to meet you” Nelly said as they sweat dropped.
“And I Skyla Winters will officially be Raimon’s new soccer club member due to reasons of course” I said smiling at them.
“EHHHHH???” They screamed.
“Ouch my eardrums” I glared at them.
