SKYLA’S P.O.V
We were all tired from training all day long….When you train with Mark…you’ll forget the time but not food.
The team walked together to the restaurant where Nathan, Mark, Axel and I ate noodles last time
“Man I’m starving let’s have a bite in here guys” Mark said as I smiled.
“That’s a great idea,” Jack said as everyone else agreed.
“Hey there…Come on in” The noodles guy greeted us as we said a chorus of “Hi”…I glanced worriedly back at Bobby….He seemed down for some reason….He kept glancing at his phone every now and then.
“Hey….I” I started but he cut me off.
“Sorry…I’ve got some homework to do” Bobby said.
“Huh…Okay see you tomorrow then” Mark waved goodbye.
“Later” Bobby said.
I paused before entering the restaurant looking at his retreating figure….I sighed sadly I wish I was able to talk to him.
‘Stupid skyla…you can talk back to any jerk in the entire world but to ask for a moment with your ex…you’re a coward’ I chided myself shaking my head entering the restaurant as Mark called out for me.
SKY’S P.O.V
I was walking with groceries in my arms and another with my boyfriend David…I got back from school Last week but I had a week over at Teresa’s so Skyla and Skye didn’t know I was back yet…Better yet I’m transferring to Raimon.
“Lost in thought?” David asked as I hummed…David laughed.
“Samford’s don’t get lost in thought” David chided.
“I’m winters…Babe” I said as my cheeks flushed red.
“Yeah…” David smirked.
I paused seeing Bobby, Skyla’s exboyfriend and David’s exteammate
“Bobby” I called out seeing he was lost in thought….David sent me a look that said. ‘You’ve always wanted to go to the grim reaper right?’
I ignored him
“Bobby….” I started but he didn’t seem to notice me because he walked past me his eyes still widened from panic but I don’t know why.
“Jude has something to do with this” I flared as David rolled his eyes at me kissing my forehead.
“Sure he does…Bobby and Skyla are royal’s ex-property after all” David shrugged…I could tell he had no idea what Jude was up to.
“My sister’s not property” I growled at him. “And that doesn’t help exactly”
“C’mon….Let us get home” David flashed his angelic smile that made me walk home with him happily.
“You’re rich and prefer walking” David groaned.
“Yeah” I said putting my keys in to the door.
“I think I understand Nelly better” David joked around as I opened the door after fumbling with the key.
“Tch…That does not even understand her…it’s her ideology” I explained putting the groceries on the floor of the living room as our caretaker moved it to the kitchen.
“Gotta go babe…Love you” He kissed my nose as I nuzzled him
“More than you think” I said smiling as he waved goodbye.
I collapsed on the sofa worried about bobby but more about Skyla…He’s wearing the Raimon uniform I had no idea he schooled there now…Skyla hadn’t said that….I guess she wanted to ignore the fact…Poor Skyla

SKYLA’S P.O.V
“Yo!” I greeted plopping next to Skylar on the sofa where she was binge watching movies and series she missed.
“You’re home sooner” I said watching her carefully as she sent a glare my way making me smirk as she rolled her eyes decreasing the volume.
“They got way too many cancer patients this year and since I’m getting better…I’m here for a while…I’ll go back though to continue chemotherapy” Skylar winced as I could tell it was painful
“And your hair?” I asked her
“I’m not losing it anymore…The doctors said my hair is fine and so is my brain” Skylar shrugged. “But the bleeding from my other openings”
“You’re too young to die now” I whispered scared a bit as she nodded.
“I know the doctor says there’s a high chance I’ll survive because of my blood type or something like that” Skylar shrugged as I sighed.
“And homework?” I sent her a playful glare as she widened her eyes eyeing my movements.
“I’ll do those in the hospital….The doctor required no stress for me” Skylar grinned widely as I groaned.
“Great…since you’re home…tons more dishes for me” I said whining.
“So you’ll wash on my part too?” I heard Sky’s voice from behind me as I turned to meet her kneeling on the sofa.
“You’re back” I squealed.
“Yeah…I am” Sky smiled at me though I realized that it was a reserved smile but I ignored it.
“Baking a cake that’s burnt by now” Skylar said checking her watch putting her attention back on the series she was watching
“Goblin? Again?” Sky asked Skylar as she shrugged.
“I want to laugh and follow my dreams of watching this twice in a month” Skylar smirked as we rolled our eyes at her
“Speaking of again….The cake is burnt…again” I smiled weakly at her as Sky got pale
The caretakers couldn’t rescue it on time and she sighed sadly….she’d never be as good as a cook as I am.
“I’d love to tell you to submit loyalty to my meals but you look down in the dumps…What’s poppin’?” I asked her
“I’ll just order a red velvet ice cream cake with Chocolate sprinkles and Syrup” Sky sighed dialing a number on her phone then leaving trying to get better reception

The next day at school….I was walking with my sisters to school after mom took Skye to the elementary….
I saw Bobby head off to the club absent mindedly.
“Hey….” Tess called me as I looked to see the dance squad and my sisters there too.
“Hi….Let us go” I said sending them a small smile before looking at the direction bobby went to and sighed following my friends
After school…I sat with the team watching the team run to increase whatever they said they wanted to do…My mind just wasn’t in soccer today….I saw bobby walk off….He seemed bummed…Nelly nudged me as I looked away sighing, Silvia asked Celia to talk with him either way.
“You seem quite concerned about him why is that?” Nelly asked Silvia smugly.
“We’ve been friends for a long time so I know him well” Silvia explained.
“Is that a fact…You know him more than his own girlfriend” Nelly looked at my direction as I looked away really annoyed at her.
“You’re his girlfriend….No wonder you two know each other the first day he was here…Why didn’t you say anything?” Silvia smiled at me as I rolled my eyes at her silly behaviour.
“We broke up…He didn’t want to be with me anymore and I accepted it” I said looking up at the sky.
I bit my lip…. ‘I miss him’ I thought smiling sadly.
‘I have cried myself a river and built my bridge now all I have to do is to cross it and I’m done no more Bobby for me’ I thought smiling widely.

Nelly and I walked through the Admin section to the chairman’s office to see some documents signed for the district finals.
“Huh?” Nelly said as we saw an envelope under a door and she picked it up
I recognized Bobby’s handwriting….We read the letter silently until we got to an infuriating part.
“You don’t think…” I started.
“You’re kidding” Nelly glared at the paper….
I sighed…”I knew Ray Dark wanted something from Raimon but I don’t know what”
“He’s just that obsessed with winning?” Nelly asked as I nodded.
“I…” I started.
“You should head back to practice….I’ll think of what to do” Nelly smirked.
“Don’t do anything stupid and dumb” I said leaving to practice…

I was dodging through the defenses that came at me and I still hadn’t shot the ball yet…Coming to think of it…Bobby’s way more energetic than yesterday…What’s up with him?
‘Focus’ I chided myself.
I saw Mr. Wintersea at the side with a smug grin as I glared at him….soon enough Nelly came confident and all.
“Hey Mr.Wintersea” Nelly said as he turned to meet her glare.
“Yes, what’s the matter, Nelly?” He asked.
“I have a favor to ask…Could you help me out with something?” Nelly smirked.
“How can I resist a call for help from the loveliest girl in the whole school” Mr. Wintersea said.
“I want to check the condition of the bus we’ll be taking for the finals…can you take it for a test drive.” Nelly asked as I face palmed….Way too direct.
“You want me to drive the bus?” Mr. Wintersea asked.
“Uh…I really would but I don’t have the license to drive any vehicles and also um…” Mr. Wintersea fumbled over his words panicking as I smirked.
“You don’t have to worry about that…The school’s private properties….so you don’t need to have a license and well I just want you to drive it around for a couple of minutes” Nelly stated.
“It’s not that hard…Is it?” I sneered at him
“I….” Mr. Winter Sea started.
“Oh is there another reason why you don’t want to go?” Nelly asked smirking.
“Well….” Mr. Winter Sea started.
“Mr. Wintersea” Nelly called him
“Uh…Yes miss” Mr. Wintersea said…He was sweating badly too.
“Are you nervous? Here a drink before you drive the bus” I smiled deviously at him handing him a water bottle as he looked at me eyes widened and scared.
“No thanks….” Mr.Wintersea said.
“There’ll only be poison there if you want it there” I chuckled darkly.
“Skyla…You’re scaring the team” Sky’s voice came from behind me as I looked at my team and shrugged backing off
“What are you doing here?” Nelly raised a brow at her.
“Wanted to check up on my family….I see Skyla still has her dark attitude” Sky frowned.
“Live with it since you live with me” I rolled my eyes as Mark came up to Sky excited
“You’re her sister…You two look alike…So alike” Mark said shaking her hand as her ice cold blue eyes softened as she looked at him.
“You’re Mark’’ Sky observed. “The soccer idiot Skyla complains about so often now I’d think she likes you”
“All good things I hope” Mark said as a faint pink dust laid on his cheeks…I smirked and glanced at Nelly who was in the middle of a death glare at me…
Mr.Wintersea tried getting out of the situation but I stopped him.
“We haven’t forgotten about you…coach” I said venomously
“Ah…..you’re right the bus” Nelly said as he sighed and the team walked to the garage where the buses are parked.
“You’re not mad at me are you?” I asked her not looking at her.
“You complimented him?” Nelly asked.
“Since when are complains a good thing?” I asked…”I forgot…Tsunderes don’t know that”
“Tch….I have a good mind to put you in that bus to be driven by him” Nelly said with venom laced in her voice referring to the coach.
“That’s if he’ll drive the bus” I said “If not”
“If not he’ll confess…He can’t pull any tricks on me I’ve thought every single little detail over” Nelly said proudly.
“Good to know” I said dryly as we stood beside the window of the driver’s seat with Nelly telling him what to do…I stood beside Mark…I knew he could want to defend the ‘coach’
“Just drive it around a little and do a couple of turns” Nelly said smugly.
“What’s taking you so long Mr.Wintersea?” Nelly asked.
“Uh…Nothing….I” He fumbled over his words.
“So hurry up…Start the engine please” Nelly said
“Yes miss” Mr.Wintersea said.
“Oh dear that’s a little odd…could the battery be dead I wonder?” Mr.Wintersea said.
“Hurry up Mr. Wintersea” Nelly said
“Uh...sorry” Mr.Wintersea said as I snickered….He finally started the bus
“Drive the bus out of the garage” Nelly said.
“Are you having some kind of cerebral episode?” Nelly asked.
“I can’t do it” Mr.Wintersea said putting his head on the steering wheel
“Why on earth not?” Nelly asked glaring at him.
“I just can’t do it” Mr.Wintersea said.
“Come on dearest coach….There’s gotta be a reason at least” I gritted my teeth.
Nelly rose up the letter.
“I received this letter today….detailing the terrible and indeed criminal act that you’re planning to commit “Nelly said
“Mr.Wintersea….You are unable to drive this bus because you did something to it” Nelly concluded as I rolled my eyes.
“How obvious…get to the good parts already” I said groaning.
“You vandalized it correct?” Nelly asked.
“That’s what it says here” Nelly said.
“A tragedy…..You belong in prison” I glared at him
“Is that really true?” Mark asked.
“I don’t believe it” Steve said.
“I’m waiting for an answer Mr.Wintersea” Nelly demanded as he laughed a bit too maniacally
He got out of the bus surprising Nelly as I gave her a look that said ‘You’d handle this….didn’t you handle this nicely’
She shrugged at me before still taking in the not very remorseful act of out ‘coach’
“Yes that’s right…I drained out all the brake fluid” Mr. Wintersea said.
“Why would you do that?” Mark asked.
“To prevent you from attending the finals of the soccer frontier tournament…why else boy” Mr.Wintersea replied with a smug look on his face.
“But why, huh?” Mark asked.
“Because your appearance in the finals will be troublesome for someone important…Someone who I happen to answer to” He replied smirking.
‘Ray Dark even had a teacher planted here? As a coach this entire time’ I thought….Tch.
“The head of the royal academy, right?” Axel asked as Mr.Wintersea tensed up. “So to carry out your sick duty you’d sacrifice your own students?”
“You have no idea just the utterly terrifying years” Mr.Wintersea said.
“No…and I don’t wanna know” Axel said as I smirked.
“It seems like your appearance on this schools grounds is no longer tolerated” I taunted him
“I will not allow teachers like you to work at our school” Nelly said “I am authorized to speak for the chairman on this matter”
“So are you firing me? That’s fine by me…I was getting sick to the gills of this stupid old school anyway” Mr. Wintersea said… ‘But you know I wouldn’t be so sure that I’m the only spy that royal sent down far from it actually…Isn’t that right, bobby?”
Everyone gasped as I glared at Mr.Wintersea.
“That’s how it is…You bring him down as well….He hasn’t done anything as cruel as you have” I spat at him
“Why are you defending him when you know deep down you still hurt from what happened last year” Mr.Wintersea sea said as I looked down.
“Bobby is a” Silvia said as everyone stood in shock looking at Bobby.
“Anyways I’d best be going” Mr.Wintersea finally left
“Oh yeah…He used to go to royal didn’t he?” Tod asked.
“How could you do this to us?” Kevin asked as I got in front of bobby.
“That’s despicable bobby” Jack said.
“Calm down everybody….You’ve been playing on a team with this guy for weeks….How can you just condemn him like that?” Mark asked.
“Simmer down….You haven’t got one proof of any of this nonsense Mr.Wintersea talking about” I huffed
“I still believe in bobby simmer down” Mark said.
“Yeah” I agreed
“But the way you spoke to Mr.Wintersea…You knew all this while and didn’t say anything?” Steve asked.
“I….wasn’t sure of Jude’s plan and I’m still not sure” I argued back
“Well…Mark, Mr. Wintersea was telling the truth…I’m sorry” Bobby ran away….It broke my heart to see him upset like that…I know I said I’d give up on him but a lot of things hadn’t been cleared up on us so I guess my heart still lingered over that.
Nelly brought over the confession letter as I walked away sad about what just happened.
I sighed.

“Mind if I talk to you?” Bobby’s voice came from beside me…I looked up to see him and nodded.
“Sure” I said keeping my eyes on the sky.
“I….I’m sorry about last year” Bobby said as I turned to look at him and shook my head.
“It’s….fine, I’ve gotten over it” I gave him a weak smile.
“Why did you defend me out there?” Bobby asked.
“I….A part of me wanted to…A part of me that refused to let go of you…That part of me is my heart” I said sadly….
“Skyla” Bobby said as he hugged me.
“I’m sorry things didn’t work out between us but it couldn’t have anyway, it’s a miracle our relationship stayed that long” Bobby said as I looked up at him.
“Ray Dark?” I asked.
“No….our feelings for each other….We didn’t have actual feelings…It just grew from sadness and rejection” Bobby said.
“I got rejected by Joseph that week and you….” I trailed off.
“Got rejected by Lisa” Bobby gave me a sad smile as my heartfelt empty.
“You got sad because he didn’t like you that way” Bobby explained.
“I feel like I can be free now thanks to talking to you….Let’s not ignore each other again” I smiled holding out a pinky.
“That’s nice” Bobby smiled back holding out his pinky too
“Pinky promise” We said in sync laughing.

We were at the clubhouse as they praised Nelly for her courageous move until Willy ruined our moods.
“Can I just say one thing? In the soccer frontier list of rules…It says teams without a coach will not be allowed to participate in the tournament” Willy said.
“WHAT?” They said as I face palmed.
“Did you know about that Nelly?” Mark asked.
“Yes….Yes I did know and that is why you have to find a new coach right away” Nelly said.
“You thought of everything huh?” I smirked at her red face.
“I speak for the chairman on this matter by the way so that’s an order” Nelly said as we sweat dropped
