29:00 minutes into the episode

Charlie's POV

I shape shift into Ava. "Not by a long shot." I say, lying on the ground.

I get up and portal onto the Waverider. Sara, Ray, and Mick are there. The guys look up and Sara turns around.

"Ava. I wasn't expecting to see you here"

I gotta make up something quick. "Yeah the bureau got an emergency alert about a magical presence in New Orleans 2018. Thought maybe we could check it out together" Damn that was good.

"Let's get to work."

I also knew Sara would never refuse to be with Ava. She's the love of her life, in her words.

Flashback to a couple of nights before in Sara's POV

I am laying in Ava's arms and as comfortable as I am, I still can't sleep. She fell asleep maybe an hour ago but I've been wide awake. I lift my head off her chest and place it beside hers on the pillow. I smile softly and remove strands of hair from her face. She is so beautiful. I don't know what I did to deserve her.

I lay my arm back where it was on her stomach. I keeping looking at her. Admiring her every feature. Her hair, her lashes, her nose, and when my eyes fall on lips, they stay there a little bit longer. What I would do to keep kissing those lips for the rest of my life! My eyes continue their way down to her neck, her collarbones with a hickey, her boobs, her stomach and her hands.

I take her left hand in mine and kiss her shoulder softly to not wake her up. I look back at her hand and think about how someday, I'm going to put a ring on that finger. Turns out I hadn't been so subtle with my kiss as she starts to stir.

"Hey you." she smiles that beautiful smile of hers. I look at her and reciprocate the smile. "Why aren't you sleeping?" she whispers, tucking hair behind my ear.

I close my eyes as she does and when I can't feel her hand anymore, I sit in front of her cross legged. I take her hand in mine again. "I don't know. I can't sleep"

"Oh no. How come?"

"Well I guess you're just so beautiful, how could I close my eyes if I can look at you?" I say smiling and leaning down to kiss her lips. She chuckles before kissing me back. The kiss is soft and sweet, and it lasts a couple of seconds.

I pull away from her and she looks at me sweetly.

"You're sweet" she says cupping my cheek.

"I'm gonna let you sleep now. I'm gonna go get myself a glass of water. Get some rest my love," I start getting up but she pulls me back.

"Wait wait, kiss me again" she asks with a puppy face.

I obviously can't resist so I lean down and kiss her. This time, it turns more into a tender make out. She has her hand behind my head, pulling me closer. I pull my lips away from hers and say "Okay I gotta go. I want you getting your sleep"

"Well I don't mind staying up with you."

"No no. You get your sleep you have to get up early tomorrow morning for work."

She groans and admits defeat. I peck her lips again and get off the bed. "Goodnight Aves" I whisper looking back at her before I leave the room.

The lights in the hall are blinding! "Gideon can you please dim the lights? I mean this even worse than when the teacher doesn't warn you about opening the lights after a movie in class"
