Morning (1)

Sara woke up in Ava's arms on the Waverider. Their bodies pressed together and their legs entangled brought a strong sense of security to Sara. She smiled, smelling the sweet smell of Ava's hair and slowly opened her eyes.

"Good morning beautiful," Ava whispered.

Sara lifted her head up and her eyes met with the gorgeous gray eyes she adores so much. "Hey, good morning," she smiled brightly.

"Sleep well?" Ava asked.

"Mmh, so well. How could I not? Falling asleep in the arms of the love of my life." They both smiled and Sara leaned in to give Ava a sweet lingering kiss. Once their lips parted they locked eyes and just smiled until Sara pecked Ava's lips and put her head on her chest again.

Ava smiled as she got flashbacks of the night before.

Sara getting down on one knee and finally making Ava hers. The kiss was the best one either of them has had since their first kiss. The fireworks had stopped and the newly engaged couple felt like it was just them in the world. All this time apart made them realize that they can't live without each other, that they are a part of each other and all of that was expressed in their passionate kiss. They were in their own world so much, they wouldn't stop kissing. And once the team saw that, they decided to head back to the ship and give them their moment alone.

Once they stopped, Ava portaled to their room and they changed, brushed their hair and their teeth, got ready for bed. Sometimes stopping and hugging each other from behind or stealing kisses.

As much as they missed each other's bodies sexually, the need to be in each other's arms was greater so when they got into bed, they just enjoyed the moment. They talked sweetly with Sara laying on top of Ava, showering her in kisses. They talked and kissed until they fell asleep, the happiest they've ever been.

"I still can't believe this,"Ava chuckled, hugging Sara tighter.

"What?"

"You. You're here. I, I thought you were dead," her eyes start getting watery and when Sara sees that, she immediately comforts her.

"No babe please don't cry, look I'm here okay?" Sara said as she wiped away tears from her fiancée's eyes.

"Yea I know, I know," Ava said, taking Sara's hand and cupping her own cheek with it. She smiled into Sara's hand and closed her eyes, enjoying the touch.

"I love you. So much! I never thought I could love someone as much I love you Ava." She whispered lovingly.

"Me either my love," Ava said in the same tone and they made out softly.

Once they pulled away, Sara put her head on Ava's chest and they both fell back asleep. An hour later, Ava woke up and decided to surprise her fiancée. She got out of bed without waking Sara, which surprised her, but I guess she needed the sleep. She got changed in a dark blue, long sleeve shirt and black pants. She wore her hair wavy like always and made her way toward the galley. When she got there, she ate and Nate came in.

"Good morning!" Nate said with a big smile. "Had a good night last night?" he asked with a smirk that Ava didn't notice.

"Yes! It was amazing," Ava said in a calm voice and a big smile. When she looked at Nate who still had a smirk on his face: "No! Not like that! We didn't do that!" she laughed.

"What do you mean you didn't do that? You haven't seen each other for so long and you just got engaged and you're telling me you didn't have reunited/engaged-sex? No I don't believe it."

"Well believe it because it didn't happen. No, we really just wanted to be with each other," she smiled a little, looking down at her coffee.

"Aww too cute," he said half-sarcastically.

She finished eating and drinking, and decided to prepare a special breakfast for her fiancée. Zari and Berhad came in and asked her what she was doing. She told them and they said they'd gladly help. She accepted and arranged everything with their help.

"okay all of Sara's favorite things, double espresso, bacon not too crispy--"

"Hang on," Berhad said. "Greek finishing salt. Did a grocery run to the agora in Ancient Athens

"Nice"

"Just heard her alarm, it's go time" Nate said coming in. He was guarding Sara's door to make sure Ava surprised her in bed and not walking towards the galley.

"Okay" Ava said taking a breath and making her way to her quarters.

"Not yet can't skip the garnish," Berhad said. "We eat with our eyes first."

"Got all of it? Okay," Ava said, starting to get impatient.

"Ava wait" Zari said and Ava let out an annoyed breath. "Passion dragon ash enhances vitality and endurance"

"Sara really doesn't like smoothies but ooh nice flourish Nate."

I have the intention of making a part two for this story.
