Introduction Part 4 (Katy)

In the airship that was on it's way to Beacon Academy there were certain people who stood out. One of them was Katy, the popular girl in Signal Academy. Katy was sitting with her legs spread open, laid back, and enjoying the trip as they got closer to Beacon.

She was recognized in Signal academy for being incredibly social and being a good friend. She would always give you advice in how to stay strong like she did and at the same time cool. One of her rivals was Yang Xiao Long, the "cool" girl from school. Yang was recognized for being funny and extremely friendly but she had one weakness... her puns. Katy and Yang would sometimes talk but honestly they had a competition for being the coolest. Katy may have seemed nice and happy most of the time but she had a story that not everyone would really know about.

At a young age Katy and her family were caught in a fire in their own house that was caused by a thug that was against huntsman and set his target on Katy's parents. The thug managed to enter the house and used his semblance to burn everything in his way. It was nighttime at the moment and the neighbors could see Katy's house in orange bright flames. Katy's parents being the great Huntsman they are decided to go against the thug but sadly they underestimated him. While this was happening Katy was in danger. Their parents couldn't concentrate on both the thug and Katy and sadly Katy's arms were burned.

While this was happening Katy's 's parents were fighting the thug and her mom fell into a state of big pain and had bruises on her body because of the fire but they managed to put a stop to the thug and actually kill him. Then they realized that Katy was in big pain and the ashes around her were sticking to her body and her arm was reappearing again which led to her semblance being awakened. Katy's s mom told her husband to get the child out of the house and evacuate the area in case the fire spread. Katy's father didn't have enough time to say goodbye to his wife but he understood what he had to do and escaped from the fire with Katie and they both managed to survive.

Katy grew up with her dad and he would tell her the amazing stories he had with her mom before he retired from being a huntsman. She felt like part of her was empty and she would go to her mom's grave that was located in the old house that got burned. She would spend hours there talking to her mother.

Katy learned to be strong no matter what she went through and she would smile and have fun with other people which is why they loved her. She was social and the best girl they could ever met. Almost every pub in Vale knew her and sometimes Yang and Katy would show up in a same place and they would face off against each other in dance battles and they would have a good time. Then Katy came into realization that not everything is fun and she should start concentrating in her future especially the academy she would go to. In honor to her mother, Katy enrolled at Beacon Academy and was ready to slay some Grimm.
