Hermione and Draco had been called in on an emergency in one of their hotels

Which meant that the children were alone with the family

At a beach

"Put on your sunscreen" Jean ordered as she extended a towel

"I'm already tan, do I have too?" Oliva asked

"I'm black" Leon stated

"Sunscreen" Scorpius and Lyra ordered

"But it's so sticky" Leon whined

"Just put it on" James groaned, helping Lyra put some sunscreen on her back

"But I'm black, I can't get more burnt" Leon whined

Oliva burst out laughing as Scorpius and James went up to him and threw sunscreen on him, Leon screamed when the cold liquid touched his skin

"Bullies! Oliva please poison them" Leon begged her

Oliva finished putting on her own sunscreen and put her green hair into a bun

"Now now Leon, let's not get ahead of ourselves" she said "there's too many witnesses here" she winked before walking away with Lyra

"Scorpius, if you don't marry her I will" Leon smirked

Scorpius jumped on his back and took them both to the floor

James groaned with his friends childish behaviour before running after his girlfriend and her best friend

Leaving the two idiots fighting on the hot sand

"Okay but like James is hot" Samantha smirked, eyeing him as he ran towards the water

Daniella grimaced and rolled her eyes

"He's not going to go for you" she drawled

"And why not?" Samantha spat

"Because he's dating Lyra"

"So?"

"And you're dating...what's him name, Conner? John? Caleb? I don't even know anymore"

"God you became such a freak!" Samantha yelled

"Samantha!" Katherine hissed

Daniella took a deep breath and pinched her nose

"I'm sorry I'm different Sam, I'm sorry I'm a freak, but at least I'm not a fake shew who uses their body to get what they want" Daniella said before leaving

Samantha stormed to her mother

Lyra and Scorpius were looking at their cousins

"Thank Merlin we live in London" Scorpius muttered

Lyra hummed but she must watched them glance at one another from time to time

Whatever got in between them, didn't destroy their sisterly bond completely

She was cut out of her thoughts when James threw her into the water

She scolded him while their friends laughed

"Lunch!" Jean called out to them

They all got out of the water, Oliva had jumped onto Scorpius' back and he gave her a piggy back ride to the picnic blanket

They settled down

"So...where did you all meet?" Celine asked

"Scorpius and I are twins" Lyra responded for the billionth time, it seemed that Aunt Celine couldn't comprehend the simplicity of the family tree

Celine fumed, she truly was her nieces daughter

"Leon is a childhood friend and we met James and Oliva at boarding school" Scorpius said

At the mention of boarding school, Daniella perked up

"Where's the boarding school located?" She asked

"Yes where is this boarding school?" Elaine asked them

"In Scotland, our parents went there" Leon responded

Daniella's knee started bouncing, her mother put a hand on her knee to calm her down

"In Scotland? Where?" Elaine pressed

"It's located in a place with a very weird name, six years there and I still can't pronounce it" Oliva giggled

"How did you find this school?" Elaine continued, going full prosecutor

"Technically the school found us, we got accepted due to some of our talents" Leon responded

Leon and Oliva had apparently picked up on the subtle cues, they made sure that James had food in his mouth and never had the opportunity to open his oblivious mouth

He really was Harry Potter's son at times

"Such as?" Elaine continued

"Well I'm really good at History and Fitness, Oliva is brilliant at Chemistry, my sister is amazing at languages, James and Leon are good at ancient studies and fitness" Scorpius explained

"We got accepted on scholarships" Lyra added

Elaine gripped her cup as her eye twitched

"Come on now, let's eat" Jean said, cutting the interrogation short

They all ate while Elaine observed these children

She wasn't going to allow Germy to make a joke out of her and her daughter

And she was most definitely not going to allow Germy's children to make a fool out of her

She was going to win, Elaine Granger always won her battles
