Lyra, Oliva, Daniella and Samantha were all in the boutique trying on dresses
"I really like this one" Lyra said
She was wearing a pale pink dress, her hair was back to normal along with Oliva's, when Celine had made a comment they had said that they had only changed their hair for a dare
Samantha fumed when she had seen Lyra's original hair colour
Lyra was beautiful and so was Oliva
"It makes you look fat" Samantha spat
"Samantha!" Katherine gasped "enough" she ordered
"Hush up Katherine, Samantha is only expressing her own opinion" Celine dismissed her younger daughter
Katherine exhaled sharply
"I think it looks lovely" she told Lyra, giving her niece a small smile before grabbing a dress for her daughter and going to the back
Oliva was sucking on a lollipop while her best friend tried out dresses
"I'm taking James to a fancy restaurant before the ball, I need to find a perfect dress"
"You should just join Scorp and I" Oliva stated as she plucked loose strands of her ripped jeans, ever since Lyra introduced her to muggle attire, she had fallen in love with baggy ripped jeans, probably because she knew it would make her mother die of a heart attack
"Where are you taking my brother?"
"I'm taking him dancing"
"Scorpius doesn't dance"
"Oh he'll dance"
Lyra eyed her friend
"Where are you going?" She asked curiously
"I found this party on a beach, they will be playing Hispanic music, I want to show him how we party" Oliva said
Lyra bit her lower lip
Oliva raised an eyebrow at her
"interesada?" She smirked
"Well I remember the parties your brother used to host, and I know the parties you host in the Slytherin common room...I may...be swayed" she negotiated
Oliva stood up and walked to a rack and grabbed a off the shoulder white fridge dress and handed it to her
"Go on" Oliva said, waving to the change rooms
Lyra walked into the change rooms and changed dresses
Daniella was standing there wearing a metallic blue spaghetti strap gown with a long strip on one side
"I think it looks lovely" Katherine whispered
"It's tight mum" Daniella said "and I don't like showing my back too much" she added
"You know...my mum has a private collection" Lyra said
Both Katherine and Daniella looked at her
"Oh?" Katherine asked
"Yes, and I would be glad to show it to you" Lyra offered
"That's okay—" Daniella began
"For family" Lyra interrupted
"We aren't much family, Hermione and I haven't even talked since...the second day of this reunion" Katherine stated
"She doesn't know you...and you don't know her...we all have secrets but I think we share the some of the same secrets"
Both Katherine and Daniella tensed up
"How long have you known?" Daniella finally asked, her body stumping with defeat
"I see the way you tense up whenever Elaine calls my mum a freak, and from the stories my mum has told me, you and Elaine used to be close but I haven't seen it during this trip" Lyra explained, looking at Katherine
Katherine ran a hand through her hair before signing
"When Danny started having outbursts, I knew my family would treat her like they treated Hermione, so I moved away to give Danny a good life" Katherine confessed "no one truly knows why I moved, they think I moved for one of the billion job changes I have done" she said
Daniella hugged her mum before turning to Lyra
"You really are like your mum" she stated
Lyra giggled and nodded slightly
"I take after both my parents"
"Ah yes, Draco Malfoy, when will he be joining us? I can't wait to see Ellie's face when she realizes Hermione is actually married to the hottest man alive" Katherine laughed
Lyra chuckled
"Scorpius and I have been playing a role in that matter, we just want—"
"Our family to see Hermione thriving without using the excuse of a husband?" Katherine finished
Lyra nodded
"How very Slytherin" Daniella smirked
"You know what house I'm in?" Lyra asked surprise
"The hidden protégés of Hermione Granger and Draco Malfoy, see page six to see what houses they are in" Daniella recited
"I hate that article" Lyra grumbled
Katherine laughed slightly
"So? Can I show you the collection?" Lyra asked
Katherine and Daniella looked at one another
"We would like that" Daniella smiled
"But first! You must try on that dress" Katherine ordered
Lyra laughed and entered a change room, she quickly changed dresses before leaving the change room
"James Potter is going to eat his heart out" Daniella giggled
Lyra looked at the mirror
She instantly fell in love with the dress, it hugged her curves perfectly but didn't give off an immodest intentions
"Pair that with a pair of heels and you'll have that boy begging on his knees" Katherine smirked
Lyra blushed, she cleared out her throat and walked to one of the lamps, she pulled it and the dressing room changed into an extension of the store, these dresses had been made purely with magic, Taffy had payed perfect attention to the detail which therefore made Hermione's private collection more sought out
Daniella drifted to a row of dresses and began touching the fabrics
"Are these made out of...Acromantula thread?" Daniella asked surprised
"Hagrid collects it and gives it my mum" Lyra explained
"These are so soft" Katherine gasped softly
"Those are made out of Hippogriffs feathers, my dad almost had a heart attack when he saw mums first dress" she giggled
Daniella and Katherine browsed the dresses when Katherine saw a dress her daughter would love
"Danny, I think I found your dress"
