Dying prank

Tanjiro

You could not use fake blood or like paint because of his keen sense of smell. So you decided to just collapse on the floor because it would help the prank more. He was currently on a mission so you waited about half of the day. He was home most of the time but if he was on a mission sometimes it took longer then others. After waiting and you know doing whatever you wanted you heard the door knob start to turn.

You decided to make this a little more ya know real looking. You were in the kitchen and you dropped a glass and fell to the floor. Tanjiro rushed to the kitchen to check up on what just happened. Just to see you lying on the floor. " Y-y/n?! " He was very concerned...Like very concerned. Maybe this was not a really good idea knowing how much he cared for you and would do anything to keep you safe. He felt like this was his fault and he believed that if he did not take long on his mission he could accompany you sooner.

" H-hey...Please wake up. " He shook you by your shoulder. You weren't breathing and thankfully you could hold your breath for around 3 minuets. He started to pick you up and was about to rush to Shinobu but you did not want to deal with her concerns and her anger when realized you were just kidding. You knew this prank was a little to serious especially when doing a prank like this on Tanjiro.  When you felt small droplets falling onto your arms you decided it was time for this little prank to end.

" Hey Tanjiro! " You popped out with your hands up as if you were trying to scare him. A smile started to curl up on his face. He was still crying a bit. " Y/n!! " He could not be more happy. He held you close to him and was thankful you were not hurt. " What happened? " He set you down and wiped his tears. " Oh umm well I uh... Hit my head! " You decided not to tell him now because you were consumed with guilt. " Next time I will come soon as soon as possible after a mission ok! " You just gave him a soft smile and then a hug. You were gonna tell him just not now.

Zenitsu

You had decided that if he started crying and acting like a little kid you would stop there. But if he actually took this seriously which you were sure he was... You would also stop there if you ended up feeling bad. He was sleeping and you decided to use fake blood. His hearing was a bit of a problem and you did not really know what to do about that.

He could probably hear you right now but you decided to ignore that fact and continue. You thought maybe if you let out a pretty silent scream he would hear. And he did... He rushed into the room. His hair was pretty messy and he was also very scared but serious about the situation. " Y/n? Umm h-hey Y/n! " He ran over to you when he saw you on the floor. " H-hey...If you are playing around umm could you please stop... Your really scaring me! " 

He couldn't hold in his tears of stress. He was ready to call for help but you stopped him. You didn't want the prank to get to serious, it was only a silly joke. But now that you think of it that wouldn't necessarily be a silly joke or prank. You were the serious and responsible one out of the 2 of you and you felt that you weren't being like that towards him.

" H-hey Zen! " You mumbled. He got over to you in under a second. " Y/n! I am so glad your ok! " He quickly let you into his embrace. You felt guilty and told him everything. " Ehe sorry... " You apologized but still felt guilty. " Y-you pranked me! " He shouted. He felt like he should have noticed by hearing your heart beat but he was to stressed to even try. " Ehe yeah... " He made a little pouty face up at you. " How rude! " He walked away with his arms crossed.  " W-wait! Zen it was a prank!! "
