Chapter 30: Hermione's turn

We are officially onto chapter 30! Now I do plan on wrapping up the chamber of secrets movie soon, and then will be starting on prisoner of Azkaban. My favourite movie! Now. Do you guys want me to do his remaining years at Hogwarts in a separate book? Let me know in the comments!

No one's POV:

They all ran up into Harry's dorm room only to find the place completely trashed. Broken glass lay scattered on the floor alongside scrunched up papers and pillow filling. Hedwig was screeching in the background. Harry walked further into his dorm room and started searching through his things.

"It had to have been a Gryffindor, nobody else knows our password" Hermione said in Harry's direction.

"Except Arden but she wouldn't do this would she?" Ron asked rhetorically. 

"Unless it wasn't a student."

"Whoever it was, they must have been looking for something." Ron adds in.

"And they found it... Tom Riddle's diary is gone" 

...

Arden was sat in the hospital wing next to Hermione's petrified body when Ron and Harry went in. 

"I warn you, this maybe a wee bit of a shock" McGonagall tells them as they walk further into the wing. Harry and Ron's mouths both drop open at the sight in front of them. Hermione's arm was elevated, as if she had been holding something, and her mouth was wide open. She looked ghostly pale, more than usual and her hair seemed to be even more bushy if possible. She did not look well. 

Harry and Ron walk up next to her. 

"Hermione" Ron mutters in shock.

"She was found near the library" Mcgonagall informs them. "Along with this" She holds up a small hand mirror. 

"I gave her that" Arden finally muttered, causing all eyes to snap to her. "So that she could look around the corners, I knew me and Ron wouldn't be in trouble because we're pureblood but I also brought this to give to Harry". She pulled an identical mirror out of her school bag. 

Harry reached out to touch Hermione's cold, pale hand.

Later that evening we were in the common room when Flitwick came in in a rush. 

"Could I have your attention please, because of recent events, these new school rules will be put into effect immediately. 

All students will return to their house common rooms by six O clock every evening, all students will be escorted to each lesson by a teacher, no exceptions." We all were shocked. " I shall tell you this, unless the culprit behind these attacks is caught, it is likely the school will be closed." All of us let out a joined gasp. 

"But professor! Surely they couldn't close the school! I'm pretty sure the second best wizarding school in the world is illvermorny and we couldn't possibly all go there" I called out in desperation.

"Now now Miss Weasley, Calm yourself Dumbledore is trying to find out who is behind these attacks as we speak." He replied.

"Yeah as if we could count on him! As long as Gryffindor's ok though right?" I called out, and many noises of agreement cam out of the crowd." He just sighed and walked away. Its safe to say the Ravenclaw house we're not satisfied with that answer.
