Chapter 40: slytherins

"Weasley! Weasley"

"Harry, Ron, Hermione you go ahead. I'll see you tomorrow?" Arden told them after hearing Draco calling her name.

"Yes of course Arden. We'll see you tomorrow" Hermione reassured her before walking off with the two boys. After they had left Arden turned to the blonde boy who was standing expectantly behind her.

"Come to pay up Malfoy?" She asked him with a cheeky grin. He rolled his eyes but had a small smile anyway. It was at this point she really looked at him. He'd grown. He was now a little bit taller and his face had matured wildly since she last saw him. He'd filled out more so his Hogwarts robes didn't look quite so baggy and he had this sort of boyish charm around him.

The candle light in the dim hallway outlined the contouring and strong points of his face. Behind him stood Blaise Zabini, Theodore Nott and pansy Parkinson. All with smirks on their faces as they watched the pair.

"Whatever Weasley. I'll win next time" he told her as he handed the three galleons over.

"If there is a next time Malfoy" she called over her shoulder as she walked away from them, her robes following after her Snape style.

After leaving the Slytherins in the corridor she walked briskly back to the Ravenclaw tower, excited to see Luna and cho again. They had been owling her all holidays to come and visit them but she hadn't had a chance to escape the madness of the burrow. 

After making her way up all the stairs she was finally greeted to the welcoming aroma of her, Luna and cho's dorm. Opening the door she was knocked over with the force of the two girls jumping on her.

"Oh my merlin I missed you two so much" she cried whilst hugging them back. The girls responded telling her they missed her too.
