Draco had been terribly dramatic on the long trek towards the castle."It hurts Weasley! Kiss it better?" He flirted as she rolled her eyes.
"You've got to be kidding" she said slapping his arm, the one that wasn't hurt.
"Oh I am. Now whose being dramatic?" He teased her as the ancient castle came back into view.
"I am not being dramatic. And on second thought you might not be alone in the hospital wing. Harry seemed pretty spooked when he got off that hippogriff."
"On merlins beard, course godsend potter will get all the attention again. He always does. He's always number one. To the teachers. To Dumbledore. To you." He said, his voice dropping. He seemed uncomfortable to be expressing that much, but he still somehow had his usual cocky demeanour to him. Arden decided not to mention it.
Looking up, she realised they had somehow made it to the hospital wing already, the walk seeming so much shorter than it usually did. Pushing the large oak doors open she called out.
"Madame pomphrey! Dracos here again, he's hurt his arm in care of magical creatures." She told the elderly woman, who immediately started fussing over Draco, dismissing the girl.
"Bye Draco" she said and then turned to leave before she could hear his answer.
Deciding she'd had enough for one day, she grabbed her bag from the cold tile floor and started the walk to her houses common room.
Once she got there she sat on a comfortable navy arm chair near the fire place and pulled a book out of her bag. It was a love story about a girl stuck between two boys. She couldn't help but slightly relate to the girl in the story. She wasn't sure how she felt at this point but she knew she definitely liked Harry a little more than friends and she felt a very similar feeling for Draco.
After sitting in the chair for a couple of hours and warming up by the fire after ditching the rest of her classes she finally made her way up to her bedroom. After dumping her things on her large four poster bed she walked and looked into the mirror, her mascara was slightly smudged and the concealer she had applied earlier in the day had rubbed off.
Applying a bit more concealer and blending it out, she reapplied her mascara, put on some lipgloss and brushed her hair out. After this she took off her robes and rolled her sleeves up. Her skirt had ridden up slightly but she left it the way it was, liking the way the skirt and long socks complimented her legs. Her tie had loosened around her neck and a button had been undone on her white shirt. She untucked her shirt, leaving her in her skirt, shoes, socks and shirt.
She decided she looked decent enough and started to make her way to dinner at the great hall.
