Chapter 1
-Author's PoV-
An older man punches a 5-year-old child, making the small body of the child fall from the impact. The little girl lets out a small yelp.
"Ah!"
The scene shifts to a run-down house with broken windows. On the left, small children in dirty, shabby kimonos have greasy hair covering their eyes. Some are pale as a sheet, near death. Many are skin and bones. The door opens. A man who punched a little girl is coming out of a broken house. He is dragging the child he had punched, then threw her. Blood is dripping from the child's nose and mouth; her h/c hair covers her eyes.
'I'm hungry...
I'm Sad...
I feel Hopeless...
but then, One day.......
I heard a sound like a snap......
. . . . . .
and I never knew pain again....'
The little girl thought as she leaned back against the wall, sitting and pulling her legs to her chest.
Her vacant gaze drifted into space, her skin pale and transparent. She had become emaciated, reduced to skin and bones. Her eyes were dull, lifeless, and hollow. Her hair was filthy, matted, and tangled in knots.
A few days later
A man binds the little girl with a rope that circles her waist.
'While living in poverty, even when my parents sold me, it didn't even make me sad.'
An elderly man with a bamboo staff interrupts the bald man.
- ------ -- PoV-
I was strolling around a village of ----- until I noticed a child. They tied him up at the waist, and he wore a dirty, old, crappy kimono: messy H/c, dull, and lifeless E/c eyes.
Following the man in a brown kimono and looking at the ground, I walk toward him. My blood is boiling with anger, but I keep my composure.
"Excuse me, sir, do you have a minute?" I said to the man who was holding the rope. He looked and turned around to see who was talking to him. I kneeled to the child's height and asked, "Hello there, child, my name is Master Wu, nice to meet you. What's your name?" She looked at me with those dull E/c eyes.
The man barked at me, "She's nameless; her parents never gave her one."
"If you wanna talk to this kid, pay up!" He was trying to attract a crowd. He was about to grab me, but I slapped his hands away. I dug in my pocket, threw some money, and said, "All right, then I'll buy her." I snatched the rope and ran with the child. When I glanced back, she was looking at me. But the difference is that the child's eyes aren't dull and lifeless. Now her eyes are shining. You poor thing...

-Third PoV-
After Master Wu rescued the child from the bald man. He welcomed you to his home at the top of Ninjago City's highest mountain. Here you are now in the bathroom, trying to bathe yourself, keyword: TRYING. Which failed. Then, you heard voices. One was Master Wu's. The other was an unfamiliar female voice.
Then the voices got closer. Someone knocked on the bathroom door. You didn't answer. They hammered out a persistent beat, your eyes locked on the door. Your trauma held you silent. Then, you heard an unfamiliar female voice.
"Little one, I'll open the door now." When she opens the door, she only sees you looking at her with curiosity and confusion. You tilt your head to the right. She gasps, kneels to you, and puts her hands on your shoulders. Looking at you with a face full of worry, she then introduces herself as Misako. She stands up and walks to the bathtub. She fills the tub as you gaze, fascination flashing in her eyes. She looks back at you and walks toward you; she picks you up and takes off your clothes.

Now we see you sitting and looking at the two adults having a one-sided argument.
"Wu! Wu! Wu! This child is hopeless!" Misako complained. While Master Wu poured tea into their cups.
"Calm down, Misako, here, have some tea," Master Wu calmly says trying to soothe Misako down, Misako sighs "I'm just worried.....a child like her that doesn't think about herself, it's dangerous..." Misako reasoned.
Wu stands, drawing near the child who observes with fixed attention. He produces a coin, takes her hand, and places it within. "When alone, make your choice by flipping this," he says.
Right, Y/n? As long as it's given a chance, a person's soul will open up, so don't worry." Retreating his hand from her, he said, "When you fall in love with someone someday, you'll change, Y/n."
