This is the REAL prologue!!!

~Prologue~

"One - two - three - I'm coming to get you!" A little girl cried, flinging her hands off her face and looking around the palace excitedly. She was around four years old, and had a pair of bright blue eyes. We are in the royal gardens. If she wants to hide, she'd hide somewhere far away from me. That would be . . . behind the door, in the pond, or in the bushes. There's guard patrol around the exits at midnight, so she wouldn't hide behind the door with the risk of being caught playing in the middle of the night. There's mosquitoes everywhere - especially in the bushes. Lily hates mosquitoes. So . . . she's in the pond? She loves hiding in dark places. The little girl crept over the stone pebbles, around the still fountain and avoided branches sticking out of the dark, until she reached the side of the pond. A frog chirped; she jumped and slipped into the cold water. When she opened her eyes, she found herself surrounded by a large bubble, allowing her to breathe. She squealed and completely forgot about the game. "MOMMY!" She yelled, racing back into the palace, dripping wet. "What happened?" Queen Crystal asked, jumping up from her throne. "I DID IT I DID IT I DID IT!" "You did what?" Crystal asked, frowning. "I controlled that water! In the pond!" It was like someone had pressed the pause button on Crystal. If the little girl's life was a movie, the background music would have screeched to a stop and the Narrator would have jumped in with a comment like, "Whoa, definitely didn't see that one coming!" "T-that's wonderful, Moonlight." Queen Crystal said with a smile that was most certainly fake and forced. "What?" Moonlight asked. "It's just that ... if you control water, then you have to move to the water kingdom, so Tsuki can train you. I love her and all ... but it'll be lonely without you." Then Lily came bounding in, wringing the water out of her silvery-blue hair. She froze when she saw Moonlight. "You were supposed to be looking for me!" She yelled angrily. "And I was - until I controlled the water in the pond!" Lily had the exact same reaction Crystal had. Her mouth dropped open and she went rigid with shock. "Come over here," she snapped, pulling her younger sister behind the throne. Crystal frowned. "Play nice, Lily." She called, standing up and pulling out her phone. "I need to talk to Jenifer." The phone beeped and Jenifer's face flashed across the screen. "What's up, Crys?" "Moonlight can control water!" Crystal hissed into the phone. Jenifer dropped the phone and her jaw practically touched the floor. "Well," she said softly, after she'd recovered from shock, "her name is Moon. She was supposed to have the power, right?" "Yes," Crystal sobbed into the phone. "But not at this age." She tugged on a strand of her dark brown hair. "Even Tsuki didn't get hers until she was ten." "And Moonheal got hers at nine." Jenifer reminded her. "Plus, I remember Niagara saying something about the more powerful you are, the faster you manifest." "Is there any way I can stop it until she's ready?" Crystal asked. Jenifer paused. Crystal started counting the seconds. After five minutes, she said, "Yes."

So yes, I know that was probably SUPER boring, and I'm very sorry. I promise the story will get MUCH more interesting! That was just. . .I had. . .well, put simply: I'd just had tea with writer's block so I was kinda. . .how do you say it. . .out of ideas? Yes, that's it. I was 'out of ideas'.
