I stood face to face with Rapunzel and her Crew.
"Well, well, well, what do we have here". I said staring at them.
"Varian, what your doing is wrong, it's not to late to be good again".
"That's just it Rapunzel, it is too late, nobody is ever going to forgive me, not after everything I've done".
"Varian, that's not how it works they will forgive you".
"You don't know that, do you know how long I've ruled this place. And they still don't like me". I said my voice wavering.
"It doesn't have to be that way". Rapunzel said desperately.
"Listen, you just don't understand, I've been thinking. With all the taxes I have been collecting I might, just might be able to make something to save my dad. I said. Rapunzel looked sorry for me.
But you have to give me my kingdom back. Rapunzel said stern.
"I told you you wouldn't understand". I replied back to her comment.
I went searching through my head to get Rapunzel distracted enough so that the guards could capture her and bring her back to her stall.
"Also you can't just expect that after all this time. Your parents would still be alive, and I'm not joking Rapunzel. I put on my dead serious face.
She took a step back and gasped. Cass looked at me.
"What, how?"
"Well what do you think they were defending their kingdom and I had no choice".
I was great at acting so I managed to convince them. Rapunzel on the other hand wasn't taking it so well she had tears in her eyes and she tried to yells but she was choking on her tears instead. I smiled and waved goodbye. As the guards took hold of them.
