Your POV

My friend, Youngbae, and I are going out together today since we haven't hung out in a week. Exams sucked our souls out.

Him and I are in a café together, laughing and catching up.

"You know, it's really nice to hang out again after what seems like so long.", I tell him.

"I agree,", Youngbae says, "It's nice to see each other again."

Normally he'd be fine. Today however, he seems very fidgety and nervous. Also distracted as well.

"Youngbae oppa, are you okay?" I ask concerned.

"N-ne, I'm fine.", he stutters, "(Y/N)-ah, can you excuse me for a second?"

I nod and he stands up and walks away from the table. I start to think about why his behavior's been off. I get absorbed deep in thought when I hear someone speak.

"How've you been, (Y/N)?"

This did not not sound like Youngbae at all, in fact I was right. When I looked up next to me, my eyes met my ex-boyfriend, Jiyong.

"What are you doing talking to me?", I ask coldly.

"I miss you, I want to get back together.", he states.

I laugh sarcastically, "Seriously, Jiyong? The last time I saw you, you said you didn't love me anymore."

"But-"

"No", I interrupt, crossing my arms, "There's nothing you can say or do to make me get back together with you."

He puts his hands on my shoulders and leans in in an attempt to kiss me. I keep pushing him away though.

"Stop, Jiyong!", I yell, not caring if I cause a scene.

"You, stop!"

With that, Jiyong is off of me. I look and see Youngbae grabbing Jiyong by the collar and glaring threateningly into his eyes.

"Get your hands off (Y/N)!", Youngbae demands.

Jiyong only chuckles, "Is that a threat? What place do you have in (Y/N)'s life that you have that kind of authority? Are you her boyfriend?"

Before I can say anything, Youngbae speaks up.

"Actually, yes, I am her boyfriend, so I'm telling you once to leave my jagiya alone." he answers sternly.

With that, he lets go of Jiyong's collar, causing the latter to stumble back a bit.

"You win,", Jiyong says, "but this is not the last time you'll see me. I will get you back (Y/N)!"

After his proclamation, Jiyong exits the café, leaving me and Youngbae alone.

"So....", I awardly draw out, not sure what to say.

He sighs and begins to speak, "Look (Y/N), to be honest, I really like you. I have for a while. If you would accept my confession, I'd like to be your boyfriend."

I smile and hug him.

"Youngbae, I like you too. And I'd love to be your girlfriend.", I tell him.

I reach up to kiss him on the cheek.

"How about we get out here and do whatever our hearts desire?", he suggests.

I nod eagerly before we gather all of our belongings and leave the café. I spend the rest of the day with Youngbae, who is my heart's desire.
