Harvey
It all started on a bright and sunny day in the midst of June... wait a second that isn't right! Let me try again. It was a dark and stormy night in the midst of October -that's better- on me beauty of a ship. 'Er name? Why, it was the S.S Eclipse! I remember I was yelling at me crew, "EVERYBODY DOWN! EVERYBODY DOWN!" then a
flash of lightning hit my girl! If Zeus was real, ooh can't imagine what I'd do to him.
"Sir! Ship report!" of course, just on time was my right-hand-man Barry, "Eclipse has lost all her power! We can't move at all!" One look over the deck, and I knew we didn't have to. I walked pass Barry and told him to call my son to meet me in the bridge. I walked to the control room me self and wouldn't ya know it? He was already there! He sat in me chair, staring intently at a compass.
"Ay you! Get outta me chair!" I said, and shooed him out of it, then sat in it my self.
"What!? It's comfy!" he said.
"Well that's why it's mine!" I said, chuckling.
He rolled his eyes and said "So what'd you want me up here for, pops?"
"Vincent, me boy. What do ya see?" I asked and pointed to the window behind him, he turned around and gasped in disbelief.
"Pops?" Vincent looked back at me, "what's happening?" The ship was half in a storm, half in calm waters.
"Well sonny, it appears we've reached our destination" I snatched his compass and showed it to him, "the Bermuda Triangle." Before Vincent could say a thing, the alarms went off and Barry walked up the stairs.
"Um, sir, we seem to have a slight... infestation" he said, seeming as though he wasn't sure if he chose the right words.
"What kind of infestation?" I asked, but I already knew.
"Gilled. Rats." he replied. The three of us walked down the stairs, only to see the last of our men eaten alive.
"I'm sorry cap'n" he said as he was engulfed in the blasted things.
"No!" yelled Vincent, unaware of his glowing eyes. The rats looked straight at him and retreated. "What just happened?" he asked, confused why the rats ran away.
"I don't know" I lied, I didn't want him to know... yet. We followed the rats to their exit, a small hole. They all slid down the hole like water in a drain. As the last one exited, water started pouring in and, I said "Better get the duck tape."
The ship's light's flickered on, "Looks like we're back on the move" I said, and walked back to the bridge.
"Dad, what was all that?" said Vincent, wondering why Barry and I weren't as confused as he was...
"Why my son, didn't I tell you?" I looked back over my shoulder and said, "were in the Bermuda Triangle, this is... just the beginning."
