The next thing Vincent knew he was on the ground of the control room. The last thing he could remember were the rats and the speech his father gave. Every thing after that was a blur... That was because Harvey didn't want him to know, about the secret world. He stood up and looked out the window, only to see a light house.
--------------------- 2 Hours Earlier---------------------
"This is just the beginning" said Harvey to Vincent.
Then Barry came up to the control deck, with eyes glowing a deep shade of grey, and he put his hand on Vincent's shoulder, "Sorry kiddo, but you gotta go to sleep". And just like that Vincent fell asleep and slumped on the ground. Barry looked up at Harvey and he already knew what had happened.
"Let's go" said Harvey. They went to the deck and saw a horrifying sight, a kraken bigger than life tying to constrict the ship. The reason it was trying to was because there was a magical force field emitting from the ship, preventing the kraken's arms and tentacles from getting to the deck. " You, Mr.Kraken, are going to find out why it was a mistake to mess with MY ship" said Harvey. Then his eyes turned a deep blue and as he lifted his arm, water bubbled from underneath the monster and started to lift it up. In the blink of an eye the kraken was in a giant bubble floating in the air. "Your turn mate" Harvey said to Barry, arms lifted.
Barry walked up, "Aye, aye sir." He lifted his hands as well, and his eyes changed from grey to coal black. Electricity gathered around Barry's hand and he looked at them, "Haven't done this in a while" then he whipped his hands forward. Electricity bursted from his hands and zapped the bubble. As electricity flowed through the bubble the kraken stopped moving, and it was over. " Anybody up for some calamari?" asked Barry jokingly, then he slumped down on the deck.
"Calling on his dark magic isn't as easy as it looks I guess" said Harvey, with Barry in his arms. After that more monsters and anomalies appeared: giant lobsters, floating dinners, giant flying man-eating fish. But the weirdest thing in the Bermuda Triangle was what was in the center. A lighthouse.
"Dad?" said Vincent in a groggy voice, "what happened?" Harvey looked up at his son surprised "I didn't think he'd be up so early" thought Harvey.
"Uh, you... fell asleep out of sheer excitement from being in the Bermuda for the first time." said Harvey. "Man, lying on the fly is hard!"
"Excitement? More like boredom, I probably thought it was so boring I fell asleep" said Vincent. "Anyways, where are we?" Vincent looked around and saw the lighthouse, he then became even more curious. He then looked at Barry slumped in his fathers arms, "What happened to Barry?!"
"Oh umm... he slipped and hit his head, he'll be fine." lied Harvey. "Welp let's get into that lighthouse!" And he threw Barry onto his back.
"Ookay..." said Vincent. He and his father both jumped off the ship onto the shore.
As Harvey hit the floor a"Thump"sound was made. "Sheesh mate, have you gained a few pounds?!" exclaimed Harvey looking back at Barry. Then he looked up at the lighthouse, "Now where's the door?" He and Vincent explored the perimeter of the structure.
"Well if there isn't an entrance" Vincent picked up a rock and aimed it at one of the windows, "then we make one." He threw the rock. The rock hit the window, but Vincent didn't expect it to bounce back. He quickly dodged the rock,"Woah!" He looked at the window, bewildered. He walked up to the window and reached out to touch it, but instead of feeling something solid, he passed right through.
"Well I guess we found our way in." said Harvey, and he touched the window and went through it.
"Swoosh" the window went as Harvey popped in, but he didn't thud on to the floor, instead he landed on some kind of cushion. "Ow..." said the cushion, "You sure you didn't gain a few pounds yourself dad?"
"Haha, very funny" said Harvey sarcastically, he stood up and looked around. Then he pointed at the stairs on the other side of the hall they were in, "Let's go up the light tower before I die of laughter." And with that, they went up the spiral staircase that led up to the light tower.
"Ugh. What's happening?" asked Barry groggily as Harvey and Vincent entered the light tower.
"Barry! Mate, lucky you woke up now, we just got to the top." said Harvey, putting Barry down.
"I must have used too much d-" Barry stopped speaking and looked at Vincent- awake and well. "How is he awake? I used a lot of magic to keep him asleep until we got through the tower..." thought Barry "His magic must've counteracted mine, that means he's pretty talented. Or at least he can be..."
As if he could read Barry's mind, Harvey smirked at his son. "Didn't expect that now did you?" thought the captain. "Well is everybody ready?" said Harvey.
"Ready for what?" asked Vincent, then his father moved in front of him with eyes glowing deep blue. "What the?!" then his eyes started flickering a light blue. "What's happening?!" Vincent demanded. But before he could get the answer, the lighthouse light spun toward him and the others, and it went dark. "Hello?" Vincent called. When he came to he was greeted by the pleasant motion of someone landing on him, again. "Ow. Dad get off me!" said Vincent, thinking the person on him was his father.
"Dad?" asked a voice Vincent thought he recognized ,"who is this?"
Vincent suddenly remembered where he heard the voice from, "Sarah?"
"Vincent?!" asked Sarah.
