A "click" went off under Sarah and the floor beneath her opened. She fell down and let out a disappearing "Ahhhhhhhhhh!!!" as she fell. But she didn't hit the bottom of the pit hard, instead she landed on a cushion of some sort, the area around her was dark.

"Get off me, Dad!" the cushion ordered.

"Vincent?" asked Sarah.

"Sarah?" asked Vincent.

Sarah immediately got off Vincent's back, "I'm so sorry are you okay?" asked Sarah, scared that she might have broken something. "What are you doing here?" was her follow-up question.

"Yeah I'm fine, and honestly, I don't know what I'm doing here."

"Wait a minute, where's Caleb?"

"Caleb?"

"Oh sorry you don't know him yet." Sarah turned around and cupped her mouth,"Caleb?" she called.

"Sarah" he called back, where are you? I can barely see anything." he waved his hands around while walking towards Sarah's voice until he found her, and Vincent. "Oh, hi I'm Caleb, nice to meet you."

Vincent was about to shake his hand, but then he heard a voice and looked over to see his dad followed by Barry, who's hands were on fire. "Vincent?" Harvey called.

"Over here!" Vincent called back, "Barry your hands are on fire!"

"Relax boyo." said Barry calmly, as his hands were on fire.

"We'll explain later, but right now we need to get out of here." said Harvey then he looked over at Sarah,"Oh, hello Sarah how have you been?" he bowed down. Harvey looked up to see Caleb, a sight that opened his eyes.

"Oh, hello Mr. Rundle." said Sarah, "What do you mean we need to get out of here, are we in danger?"

"No, Sarah. We're not in danger and we don't need to get out of here. What my dad needs to do is tell us what's going on." said Vincent, obviously oozing with impatience. Then, Vincent heard steps echoing behind them, or were they in front of them? He couldn't tell. "Who's there?" he asked. The steps stopped for what seemed to be an eternity. Then a fireball appeared out of nowhere and shot towards the group.

Harvey moved his arm up and a water wall rose in front of them and extinguished the fire ball, "Not this time mate." said Harvey. "There's yer danger, now can we get out of here?" he asked his son.

"Fine, let's go." said Vincent, and they ran, but the steps- even though they sounded like they were at a walking pace- didn't get softer. No, they didn't sound like they were going away, the steps sounded like they were coming closer. "What's happening?" huffed Vincent surpassing his running quota for the day.

"I'd like to know that as well." said Caleb, with his hand raised.

"We're here" said Harvey as the group passed under a large crevace in the ceiling.

"You're not going anywhere." hissed their pursuer. He lifted his hand and a lightning bolt shot straight out at Harvey.

"Dad!" yelled Vincent, he reached out for his dad as his eyes glowed an intense light blue light. An ice wall formed from the ground between Harvey and the lightning bolt, reflecting it back at the user. As their pursuer was hit by his own lightning bolt he said, "Here my words mortal, I shall return, and when I do you will be the first to die!" then he slumped on the ground paralyzed.

"Quick let's get out of here!" said Harvey

"Yeah, let's go." said Vincent, but as he took a step his vision became blurry and he blacked out.
