We reached the ball. It's in a huge mansion.
The French mafia's mansion.
I was still arguing with Wyatt about balls.
"What are y'all talking about?" Antonio asked, puzzled as he and my brothers walked over.
"Balls." Wyatt and I replied.
"Erm ok."
"Okay, you four." Flavio said, pointing at me, Luca, Wyatt and Isaac. "Don't make any mess. That means, no killing, no blood."
"Aw. WHY." We all whined.
"Go make some er... friends." Matteo added.
Urghhh there's so many people.
Where'd all my confidence go????
"Something doesn't feel right." Wyatt mumbled to me.
I looked around the place.
"Someone's watching." I agreed with him.
Good thing I brought my guns and blade.
"WYATT." a voice boomed from across the hall.
A boy probably 18 walked towards us
"Rafael." my best friend grinned and pulled the boy into a bro-hug.
"Dude. It's been a while. You didn't tell me you were coming."
"I didn't think it was important." Wyatt's voice suddenly dropped into a whisper.
"Wyatt, of course it's important. You're like a brother. Remember that."
They shared a smile.
"Ah and I'm guessing you are the Valencia he always talked about."
Wyatt's face goes red.
HEHEHE TOMATO.
"Please call me Lucia."
Only Wyatt can call me VALENCIA.
We talked for a while before someone calls his name.
"Well it's nice talking to you two. I'll see you both around." he said and walked away.
Wyatt looked at me.
"Miss Valencia, ¿puedo tener este baile?" (can I have this dance)
"Por supuesto amable señor." and pulled me to the dance floor. (why yes kind sir)
We circle each other, our gaze remaining locked. Wyatt placed his hand on my back, my hand on his shoulder, and our free hand met. Together, we danced to the music, our feet in perfect sync.
He spins me around.
I remember how we used to always rehearse this dance in school for six grade play.
How is he so good at dancing?
How can anyone be so good at everything?
As he spins me away and pulled me back once again, our faces were an inch apart.
I stared at him.
He smirked at me.
Dumbass.
Suddenly the room corrupted into applause.
I realised that the spotlight was pointing at us and everyone was cheering and staring.
I looked back at Wyatt.
"At least they know that you're mine." He mumbled and kissed me.
I rolled my eyes.
I want a punch. And so we went to get some.
"That was one crazy and attractive dance." Antonio beamed.
"Where'd you even learn how to dance like that?" Isaac asked.
"Oh we used to have a play back in six grade-" Wyatt replied but was cut off by a gunshot.
Another day, another problem.
*sigh*
"EVERYONE GET DOWN." Someone yelled.
Gunshots filled the room.
I pulled my gun out and shot the nearest target.
After more than 5 shots. I ran out of bullets.
Didn't I just refill it?!
I pulled out my daggers from my boots when someone yelled my name.
I turned around to see Antonio tackling a man.
Yea let's go brother.
I tried to aim for the man but they kept moving around.
I ran to them when 3 gunshots went off.
I pulled to a stop.
My brother was lying on the ground, blood pouring from his stomach
"ANTONIO."
All my brothers turned to me.
The people who attacked us were backing away, so was the man who shot Antonio.
Without even thinking, I ran after him.
"LUCIA DON'T-" I heard Matteo scream
