Lucia POV

We were in Safe Havens. Wyatt was playing with my hair as I lay on his lap.

"Wyatt. What are we supposed to do now?" I wondered.

We spent most of the time here.

I wish Antonio could see this palace. He would've loved it.

"You really wanna know?"

I nodded.

"Well first, the funeral's set in 3 days. You need to get yourself together. All of you. None of you are doing any good. I've talked to Isaac and Lily. They said your brothers are acting like zombies. You're doing pretty good if I'm being honest."

I haven't actually let my grief in yet. Not fully.

"And I know you're not letting yourself grief."

"How did you know??"

"Valencia, I'm your best friend. Anyway, I understand that it's hard to see someone you love die. Trust me, I know how it feels. But y'all are a family. You should be there for each other, not strangers. You shouldn't let the attackers feel satisfied. Don't show them your weakness. Antonio wouldn't want that."

At the mention of my brother's name, tears pooled up again.

"Valencia.... Maybe you should let yourself-" He was cut off by my phone ringing.

Caller ID : Wall guy.

"What do you want?" I half-snapped.

"Wow, love. Hello to you too. Don't need to get snappy." Adrian chuckled.

I sighed. "What do you need, Adrian?"

I felt Wyatt tensed for a second.

What's with him?

"Well, none of the brothers are picking up my call and I'm stuck doing stupid paper works so I wanna know how's everyone? How's Angelo."

"I don't really know. Angelo's locked himself in.... In Antonio's room and wouldn't let anyone in."

"Dude, that means he's been doing that for four days straight."

"Yea. Anything else you need?"

He paused.

"How are you doing?"

"I'm fine."

"No you're not. I heard from Isaac who heard from Liliana who heard from Wyatt that you weren't letting yourself grief much."

Stupid friendship train.

I didn't reply to him.

"Lucia, it's okay to grieve or cry. It's normal. For everyone."

"I know." I whispered.

My tears are threatening to fall again.

He sighed.

We really like to sigh huh.

"Alright then. The funeral's in 3 days. You need to get everyone together since none of them are doing any good."

"Will you be there?"

"Yea. Of course I will. If you need any help, call me okay?"

"Okay. Thanks Adrian." I finished and hung up.

"Wyatt, let's go ho-"

"What did he want?" he interrupted.

"To check in and offer help. Why?"

He didn't reply. He looks angry.

Why is he angry.

"Wyatt what's wrong?"

"Nothing." His face softened.

"Wyatt..."

"Don't worry about it, princess." He assured me and kissed my forehead.

He's not telling me something.

But I knew better than to ask. He'll open up when he's ready.

"Okay. Can you bring me home?"

"Yea, of course. Let's go."

We told Liliana and Isaac that we should get everyone together for a family night before planning the funeral.

Liliana left to talk to Matteo.

Isaac to Luca.

"I'll get Angelo and you get Flavio."

He looked at me for a moment. "Okay. Call if you need help."

I nodded and left.

I stood outside Antonio's room and stared at his door sign.

This never gets old.

I knocked on the door twice. The music inside became louder.

I turn on the door knob. He locked the door.

"Angelo. It's Lucia." I half-yelled.

The music became softer but he didn't open the door.

Window it is then

I went to my room and climbed out the window.

Antonio's room was next to mine so I climbed in.
