I haven't had the time to talk to Marcus yet. Mainly because he's either out with Quinn, or he's busy doing schoolwork. It's almost Christmas break for the boys so he will have less of an excuse not to talk to me.
I'm still a bit mad, sad, and disappointed at the fact that Marcus promised me that he would help me with the bakery. I plan to talk to him today whether he tries to make up an excuse or not
Quickly getting dressed, I march down to the cafeteria where everyone should be eating breakfast. I'm going to get the chance to talk to him before he leaves for school since he probably has plans with Quinn.
Speaking of which, I should tell her about how Marcus is my boyfriend and that she should back off. Not bothering to grab a tray for me, I spot Marcus eating breakfast alone. That's a surprise.
I speed walk to him and sit down on the seat beside him, just in case he tries to make an escape, I can hold him down. He looks up from his phone. "Oh, hey Holly," He says and goes back to eating.
I give him a dumbfounded look. "Really? All you say is 'Hey Holly'?" I ask starting to get pissed of.
"What's got you so riled up?" He had the audacity to ask. I really want to slap him in the face, but I know and was taught that violence is never the answer.
"Excuse you? Do you not remember telling me that you promised to help me with the bakery yesterday after you're finished with school?" I ask my voice rising a bit.
"I did?" Oh. My. Gosh. This boy is asking to get kicked in the balls.
"Yes, you did. Marcus, you are supposed to be my boyfriend," He opens his mouth getting ready to cut me off but I place a finger up to silence him to which he closes his mouth. "And don't even try to give me a lame-ass excuse because I know you were out with Quinn." I am not one to swear but when I get furious, it just tends to slip out I guess.
"Okay, I did promise you but only because I forgot that Quinn asked me to go rolling skating with her first. It just slipped out of my mind that she asked me. I swear I was just about to get you until she came," He says.
I close my eyes and breathe a deep breath in. "Marcus, if you want to hang out with Quinn, fine by me. I'm not going to stop you but if you want to be my boyfriend, also fine with me. But you have to act like one first. Right now, I feel like you don't want to be with me."
He stands up from his seat. "I do. Holly, I promise I do. Why didn't you tell me this before?" He asks as his voice softens.
"Hmm, really? I thought I did but I guess I never got the chance to as you're either busy with schoolwork or going out with Quinn," I say placing my hands on my hips. "Tell her the truth about us or I will."
"I will I promise," He says sitting back down.
"Good, because then it will make more sense when I tell her as well."
"But you just said either I tell her or you will. And I am going to tell her," He says sounding confused at what I just said.
"Then be my guest, tell her," I say getting angry again. He opens his mouth once again to interrupt me. "Let me know once you have," I say getting up and walking away.
Wow, I did not know I had that side of me. That was pretty badass. Hey, I guess I can be cool while still looking cute. Points to me.

"Ugh," I groan as the last customer leaves before our lunch break. I bury my head in my hands as I feel Charlotte come to stand next to me.
"What's wrong?" She asks.
