"Did you see the new girl?" Connor asks taking a seat next to me. I give him a confused expression.

"What new girl?" I ask intrigued. Isn't this supposed to be an only boy school? So what's a girl doing here? Actually, never mind don't answer that question.

"The receptionist's daughter. She just finished college and came here to visit her mother dearest," Connor responds. This school sure does allow quite a few visitors.

"Really?" I ask.

"Yeah, I heard she's smoking hot too," He adds. Should I feel worried? I mean this literally feels like an episode of Love Island. A new "islander" coming onto our campus. I mean Marcus seems like a loyal guy right?

"Should I be worried?" I ask Connor.

"That's up to you. But listen to yourself here. When you ask me if you should be worried about another girl coming to stay, that means you don't really trust Marcus," Wow, I guess that's true. "Anyway, I gonna head with Tommy to get some stuff from the store, you coming?" I shake my head in response.

Okay, my goal for today, check out the new girl. I really hope Connor is wrong on this one. I make my way to the front office to see a really ugly-looking girl. Her hair is a mess and she has these big glasses that take up most of her face. Her clothes look like she dug through them from the lost and found.

That's what my mind hoped she would look like.

Instead, she has the most beautiful eyes I've ever seen. Those green eyes and the cute little button nose with freckles. Her hair is a beautiful brown color and she's quite tall. She has this really strong jawline, it almost looks familiar but I shrug it off. As I look at her features, I feel like I've seen some of those, somewhere before.

I make my approach as I come to stand right beside her. "Hi," I say holding my hand out. "I'm Holly."

She turns to face me and puts her hand in mine in a firm shake. "Quinn," She says with a smile. Great, even her name sounds hot. Holly just sounds like someone annoying while Quinn sounds chill and laid back.

Wait, I should not put myself down because of her. Take a deep breath in, and let it out. Be nice Holly.

"You're the headmaster's daughter, right?" She asks as I nod my head. "Cool. How old were you again?"

"18, but I chose not to go to college. I wanted to start my own bakery," I say. She nods her head in response. The window of the office opens to reveal the receptionist.

"Okay, the keys to your room. Don't start any trouble okay?" She warns her daughter. Quinn takes the key from her mother's hand and gives her a smile.

"Promise. Thanks, mom," She says and the window closes. "You wanna show me to my room?" She asks nodding her head to the elevator.

I lead her towards the elevator and we arrive at the same floor I am on. "Oh, your room is right next to mine," I say leading her to her room. "Just call me if you need anything," I say to which she nods and I am off.

Okay, be friends with her Holly. She seems cool. Trust Marcus. My mind is telling me to place my trust in him but my gut tells me otherwise.

"Uh oh, trouble at 3:00," Connor says. I turn my head in his direction to see Quinn making her way towards a table with none other than Marcus. Okay, this is where the trust comes in. My leg starts bouncing up and down underneath the table. "Watch it, I'm trying to eat my soup here," Connor says giving me a glare.
