I've been thinking about this a lot lately. I really like spending time with Holly and I don't think I would be very fond of her getting to know someone else. I guess we're kind of dating but not really on the relationship page.

So today, I am planning to ask Holly if she wants to be my girlfriend. I want to do it in a special way because Holly is special to me. But first, I got to get through with her father dearest.

I make my down to the front office and knock on the window and my aunt opens it. "Rowan, what do you want?" She asks.

"Do you know where Headmaster is?" I ask fiddling with my fingers.

"He should be in the cafeteria," She says and closes the window.

Okay, here goes nothing. I walk to the cafeteria and spot him talking to a few chefs. I make my way over towards him and tap him on the shoulder. "Hey, kid. What's up?" He asks.

"Could I ask you something?" He nods his head and walks us to sit down at one of the tables. This is a lot scarier than before.

"What do you want to ask me?"

I take a deep breath in. "So you're daughter and me," I start and his eyes start to narrow. "Look I really like your daughter and I think we've gotten to know each other pretty well. She's an amazing person and any guy would be extremely lucky to have a girl like her. And I want to be that lucky guy so what I'm trying to ask is. Do I have your permission to ask your daughter to be my girlfriend?" I say all in one breath. Please say yes.

He looks in thought for a moment as he scratches his beard. "Hmm. You didn't have to ask me for my permission," He says.

"I just thought you know since your technically my teacher and she's your daughter I just thought--"

"Well then yes. You have my permission," He cuts me off and I sigh in relief. "But know this," He says and leans in close. "If you try to mess with her in any way and play with her heart, then I'm giving you extra time in English and you must stay," He warns.

I nod my head frantically. "You have my word sir, I will try to make her happy as long as I live," I say.

He stares at me for another good minute before nodding his head. "Good," He says and gets up to pat my back before leaving the kitchen. Phew, thank goodness. Her dad may seem like the jokester type but when it comes to his daughter's feelings then it is no joke.

Well, I'm glad I got that out of the way. Now time to think about a special way to ask Holly. I'll have the guys and Connor in on it and the girls too. I just hope Oliver doesn't mess this up for me. Sorry, not sorry Olly.

"I think you should get her a parrot that listens to your every command, train it to say whatever you want it to say, and let it ask her to be your girlfriend," Oliver explains.

"Yeah, that would be a good idea but when the parrot says 'will you be my girlfriend' then she'll think the parrot is asking her if she'll be its girlfriend," I respond.

I have gathered everyone here to help me brainstorm for today. Connor has taken Holly out to distract her while we watch out for the bakery and try to come up with something. Right now, we have Charlotte's holding sign-up idea, Quinn's pretend the bakery is getting shut down idea, and Oliver's parrot idea. I guess all of them are good ones but I always manage to find some flaw about it.

Like for Charlotte's one. Anyone could hold the sign upside down or ruin it in any way. Then when Holly reads it, it'll make her confused.

For Quinn's idea, it would be the top idea right now, but then I don't want her to feel sad because she will think the bakery is actually going to be shut down. And when I reveal to her that it's for pretend, she'll hate me for pretending to crush her dreams.
