Hinata couldn't believe the sight before her. She unconsciously tightened her grip on the boy next to her. In front of her stood a massive castle much like her own but wheres Hinata's castle was the color black, this castle was a bright shining white color. The sight nearly blinded her having been more in the dark than the light. She turned to the boy next to her when he began to gently pull her in another direction. Taking note of his alarmed face, she started to walk faster beside him. The fast pace didn't falter until a room inside the castle with a picture on it of some sort of bowl came into sight.
"Come on." the blonde boy hastily said.
Hinata nodded at the boy's back. The bright blue eyed male in front of her opened the door and pushed her inside. Hinata was taken by surprise as the door closed behind her. She was about to turn and run out but stopped as she began to hear talking on the other side. Leaning her ear against the door wasn't enough to hear words only mumbling. After awhile, the mumbling stopped and all was silent on the other side. Before the Moon Princess could react, the door opened and smacked her on the forehead effectively sending her to the ground.
"Crap." the boy muttered reaching down a hand for her to take which she did. The force he used to pull her up was strong and she smashed into him sending them both to the ground with her on top. A pink color began to blossom on the princess's cheek as her face was only a few inches away from the handsome boy under her.
"Umm." the boy mumbled but didn't object to her on top of him. In fact, it looked like to her as if he were studying her. As if he has never seen a girl like her before. The feeling was mutual as she has never seen a boy like him. Appearance wise.
"What is your name?" Hinata softly asked blinking in curiosity.
"Naruto. Naruto Uzumaki." the boy replied. "What about you?"
The Moon Princess tilted her head to the side in wonder. "Hinata Hyuga. I'm the Moon Princess."
"Moon princess?"
Hinata nodded. Naruto suddenly smiled wide and his blue eyes lit up in mirth.
"I'm the Sun Prince."
"The Sun Prince?"
Naruto nodded. He took in that she was still above him and a small pink tint dotted his cheeks as his body felt her curves and breasts on him. No girl has ever been this close and certainly not in this type of situation. He coughed. "Um, can you get of me?"
"Hm." Hinata's eyes widened and quickly stood up. Her entire face began to take on a crimson color.
Naruto was freaking out as he had never seen a girl look like that. Nervously he said, "Hey, are you ok-"
He never got to finish his sentence as the beautiful Moon Princess fainted in his arms. His eyes widened and he carried her to his bed. Gently, he laid her down on his bed. Her kimono flared out on his bed, but she looked tiny as the bed was really big. It could fit both him and her. Naruto cursed himself in his head for thinking that. He didn't know why he allowed himself to take her away from his home, but he had and surprisingly felt no guilt as he gazed at her.
Outside the door, he had received a scolding from his parents. Naruto wasn't supposed to follow them when the Eclipse happened. He was supposed to stay in the castle but after so long he couldn't take it anymore and curiosity drove him to follow his parents. He crossed a divide that wasn't there before near his home. The divide looked like a tall barrier. Witnessing his parents crossing without any worry, allowed him to confidently walk through after them. On the other side was a world unlike his own. Everything there was different. Crouching beside a rock far from his parents, he stayed and watched as two other people came to meet his parents. As the strange newcomers came and stood in front of his parent, Naruto couldn't help but see the noticeable differences between them. His parents had bright colors on reflecting his home but the strange newcomers instead wore darker colors. Much like the sky that currently his planet was experiencing. He had never seen the dark sky. His home was only sun. It seems that the brightness his sun brought moved from his world onto this strange one.
A creaking sound not too far from him prompted him to turn around. His blue eyes watched as a girl wearing a kimono passed through the door. He gulped feeling his stomach slightly churn at the sight of her twirling around joyously. He had never felt this way around anyone. Naruto took a chance and stepped forward to meet her.
And here they were now. She was a Moon Princess and he a Sun Prince. Two different worlds. The Eclipse opened his eyes to another world and he had a feeling the Eclipse opened her eyes to another world after remembering her eyes widen in wonder when she steped into his world to never return to her own moon until an entire century passes. Naruto couldn't help feeling weird about the entire situation. What was he going to do now? He couldn't let his parents know about her or she might be taken away from him. Naruto began to adopt a protective instinct the longer he gazed at Hinata's peaceful sleeping face. It made his stomach feel weird again.
Hinata's eyes fluttered open and she blinked as the bright yellow light touched her eyes.
"Hey, you okay?"
Hinata gasped and sat up finding Naruto sitting beside her with a worried expression. She slowly nodded and tapped her pointer fingers together. It was a nervous habit she had when she was a child. She learned to stop with the help of her cousin Neji but apparently the habit of hers was still present. Thinking of her dear cousin left Hinata feeling sad and her eyes fell to her hands. Her violet colored bangs covered her sad eyes. One hand placed themselves on her shoulder and Hinata knew it was Naruto's. Naruto's other hand crept forward, stopping for a moment but continued on as his hand hesitantly held her chin and tilted her head back up to face him.
"Do you regret it?"
Hinata's pearl white eyes looked into Naruto's blue ones. "I don't know. I don't know." Before she could stop herself, Hinata wrapped her arms around Naruto's neck and leaned her face on his hard chest. This brought her comfort and sensing this Naruto wrapped his arms around her.
"After a century, the Eclipse will come again and you will be able to return. Now, please, stop feeling sad, okay? I don't like my friends being sad."
"Friend?" Hinata's muffled voice asked not believing her ears.
"Yeah. We're friends now."
Naruto couldn't see Hinata's smile but could tell she was happy.
"Friends Forever."
